English is the best one, i think. It sounds beautiful and the grammar makes more sense than in portuguese.

Wow! Nice  My Janapese knowledge is some words, and once i started to learn hiragana but I gave it up because I had to concentrate on shcool. >< But I didn't give it up forever, I wanna continue it. Maybe after my mature exams this year, when I'll have more free time... :icon_bigg

Hey PrettyPurple, I love languages as well. Every new language opens doors, and maybe even hearts?

Favourite language: German (fluent, but still feel I don't know enough)
    Favourite dialect: Irish English

You have no idea how true that is in my experience XD

And man German is one of two languages I really really hate (the other one is Russian). I had to study it for 3 years... not anymore though (!)

Romanian is my personal favorite. I think it sounds the best. It's like Italian meets Russian. It's a perfect combination of sounds.

I of course love French too, and Japanese. Japanese is so awesome when it's being sung.

I love learning languages! My friend isn't interested in it, and I'm just thinking, "How?! I want to learn at least three or four!"

Ten would probably be way too hard for me, but I plan on finishing my Spanish fluency (I took three years of Spanish but am not fluent at all yet), learning Mandarin, Japanese, and possibly Arabic and Irish. All I am fluent in is English, and I'm only an intermediate in Spanish. In the other ones I want to learn, I know maybe a few words. :frowning2: xD

Some of my favorite languages are French, English, Spanish and so on. I also love to study different languages too and I'm currently in my second year of Japanese and decided to continue studying French again. I wanted to take Chinese and German but I thought that would be too overwhelming for me (especially Chinese).

Oh yes Romanian is nice, for some reason I think of it as vampire language (coming from me this is a compliment XD)

I know right???? I start talking about different languages and my friends just don't get it. It would be so wonderful to be know so many and be able to understand everything... For now I know obviously Polish, English, some Japanese, some Swedish (enough to more or less know what an article is about if I read it), some Spanish and a few words in German, but I definitely want to learn more.

    ---------- Post added 25th May 2015 at 09:31 PM ----------

I'm studying like 3 at once XD

All of the Scandinavian languages, Swedish in particular. I do like Norweigan although I find it has a weird "stop-start" nature about it which I can't describe, almost sounds like an English voice recording being sped up, paused and slowed down.

Its a shame I'd probably not have much opportunity to use them (even over there I understand English is often spoken too!), otherwise I'd definitely learn one of them. I think retention would be hard if they are not spoken frequently.

Oh and Polish is quite lovely too. I'd probably get a lot more use out of that one as I live in a quite Polish-speaking area now! Mind you, its meant to be pretty diabolical to learn isn't it?!

Oh and how could I forget, Welsh:
