Gay pride parade in the north (of England)?

    It's one of my hopes to go to a gay pride parade. My main issue is, all of the UK parades are down south, and I live in Cumbria, the home of boring walking holidays and second homes. Does anyone who is a filthy northerner like me know of any more local pride parades (sorry if this is in wrong section of forum)

    Manchester would probably be your best bet. It's only a couple of hours south of you.

    yep Manchester pride is big also Sheffield pride is alright not as big tho as well as Nottingham pride I know they are a long way from you but Manchester would be worth the effort .

    Sounds like you've got 3 options then:

    1. Come out and take them with you
    2. Don't go to a pride event until you're either 18+ or until you've done option 1
    3. Lie - which, for your own safety, would NOT be wise
