Sorry, but as much as I LOVE RHPS (and I do), I simply love RENT more. It's just so damn awesome...

...Anyway, back on topic: Yes, this song is fan-frickin-tastic! Esp Magenta's part. She's always been my favourite in that show In fact I made my friend dress up as her for my 18th Bday party! Also, we went to an outdoor screening and expected everyone to dress up, so we did ourselves. I guess no one else got the "dress up" memo, cos we were the only ones

 

I was part of the world record for most people dancing the Time Warp a couple months back Won a free ticket to the production (in Melbourne at the moment), too. That was one of the most fun things I've ever done.

 

I first saw the movie on my laptop during a beach vacation last summer (I don't like the beach very much). I still haven't gotten to see it in theaters, they quit showing it down here, but I have heard a recording of a live audience participation. Oh, and I have a copy of the AP script. I'm really hoping I get to use it one day.

Okay,don't tell anyone,but I saw it when it first came out. We went to a theater in Boston and saw it with the cast performing it. I've seen it a few more times since then,but it's never been as good as the first time I saw it. I have the dvd but it's not the same as "being it". I do watch it,occasionally. I do love it,no matter what.

 

The recording from the New 2006 cast is really good also... don't know where to find it except the cast recording CD.

Also, I think we should all dress as Transvestites one day.

I love that it still sounds good - and it still has a massive cult following - over 30 years since it first came out.

I think Rocky Horror Picture Show is still the highest grossing movie of all time? Not that it was ever a 'blockbuster' - but when it has been getting shown for more than 30 years, it has to be a pretty amazing earner...

 

You've never heard of the Rocky Horror Picture Show? The DVDs are still on sale online, and yes, you do need to see it. It's got Tim Curry as a transvestite in a corset and fishnet stockings.

 

the first time I saw this movie I was all like OMG!!! but I was laughing the whole time through, it is definetly a different type of movie.
