It's been going around school that the word stud means, and I quote, "The dominant male in a gay relationship."
I don't know about you guys, but I've never heard the word used this way, and it's kinda weird. Anyone heard this before or have any thoughts about it?

Tell me about it, I think I'm just gonna show this page to people to let them know that gay men don't even know about this term....

    I've heard it.

But that was at Livermore, and some of those people are a little...odd.

I know about tongue studs and hot guys but I didn't think it could also mean the 'dominant male' in a gay couple.

Well bac in the day of sex ed at my christian high school, i had a teacher say a stud is a male slut. Generally to me a stud is a very hot and sexually attractive male. Stud is more on the the muscular jock side of thing than the pretty-boi twink side.
I never heard that meaning of stud.

Funnily enough I came across it when the word stud needed a definition (nope not the gay one the horse one) But I think it has some form of relation to it...and yes I have heard it used several times both here in england and back home in australia

I've always heard girls use 'stud' as a way to mean hot guy. It also has something to do with horses, am I right?

Guys don't say stud unless they're talking about poker or horses.

No, I've never heard it used like that.
