My step dad wants to buy me a laptop if I cut my hair.
    I seriously thought about it.

But I think I'll just keep my hair.

I'm probably going to get a job next summer so I could just pay for it then; and keep my hair.

    So whatcha think?

    Shave it or save it?

Cut it. Your hair will grow back before you know it.

Because I seriously thought about it.

    I'm sorry
Dreads = most unattractive thing ever...

Get the laptop and then use the money from your job to buy a weave =D
    Everyone wins!

Then don't. Save for the computer yourself, or talk to him about something else you can do for it (dishwashing, better grades, pinecone eating, ect.).

And I like your hair too.

Hair for laptop? Hair'd be gone in a few minutes.

But then, I shave my head as it is anyway, and I don't have any incentive to do so aside from liking how it makes me look.

I wouldn't. =/ My mum spent ages trying to get me to cut my hair, and I just flatly refused. Regardless of how it looked, I didn't really want to be aesthetically defined by my parents.

When I moved out for a while, I gave it a month or so, and then did it under my own steam after I'd been left alone about it.

As someone that has a new laptop and whose hair is beginning to thin. I say enjoy the hair while you have it.

Don't cut it! I like your current hair(not)cut!
My mom tries to get me to cut my hair,
but I usually say no until eventually it needs
a trim, but I specify that the haircutter guy is
only to cut a little. And then my mom eventually
says "You know what-I like your hair like that".
A Laptop? If you hold out-the
more recent one will be faster and better.

    Shave it

It always feels nice to shave your head after you've had a lot of hair for a while
    At least that's what I do :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
I grow my hair out pretty long, then I go shave it into a fauxhawk or something really short and it feels like I'm a new person!
I actually shaved my head Thursday xD

Althought it can be a bit sad when you first get it done, but it's just hair

Unless you're really happy with everything in your life or w/e
Shave it.. it's a laptop! OMG

And yeah, imho, I think dreads are gross :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Take him up on the offer before he comes to his senses! If it makes you feel any better (and if you have been taking really good care of your hair) you can donate it to cancer patients and burn victims.

Well... if they are willing to buy you a MacBook, I say go for the computer, but if not, keep the hair. I refuse to cut my hair, because I know that I will go bald eventually.

Is he gonna buy it this season?

coz if you get the job in the summer... and then saving the money, it sounds like a lot of time...

I say cut it, plus you can grow it again, how are they gonna prevent you doing it? if you managed to get it this long already...
