Being in the closet just isn't going well for me just now! I have Amazon Prime so everyone uses my account to get free express shipping. Well my sister went on my laptop to see if something she ordered had been dispatched and up came what I was looking at earlier in the morning. Obviously I said nothing  but those book covers make it abundantly clear what the book is about :bang:

So a warning to those in the closet, there's a new history you have to clean out now!

So does google somehow. The Google ads I do see (mostly on my phone because I have Adblock on my computer) are all about tea now since I've recenty fell in love with tea. Lol. And I'm pretty sure I get advertised things that I do not even search on Google....

Computer searches... that's a paranoia spot for me. I make sure to not use Google, but instead Duck-Duck-Go since they're more private and don't save your history. Also I clean wipe my cookies, history, etc. with Computer Cleaner about once a week. Then I only visit certain sites (like EC) on an incognito tab. Plus I'm going to factory reset my computer in a few days... And I never have my Amazon account signed in while I search.

    Paranoid much? Haha... yeah...

The funny thing is I'm not even covering anything "bad" up. Just that I don't like people knowing things about me through what I google or research. And I'm still in the closet so a bunch of articles about transpeople wouldn't be too good for parental units to discover on a search history either...

Whats more annoying is when I click on emails I receive from various places I'm on the email list and browse the online store from the link and then I get another email a day later that says "Thanks For Your Interest In: Holiday Tree Tin With Sour Gummy Stars." Like a creep watching what you browse and then telling you "I know what you looked at."

    I'm looking at you, Williams-Sonoma.

The thing is to look up stuff about totally random things, like the iodine trade in 18th century Sumatra and the availability of places in old peoples homes on the south coast of England, and fool the system.

That and just tell anyone who asks why you are looking at gay porn that it is for 'research purposes.'

I was just rather content with the fact I found a gay fiction book where the 2 main characters work in government, I never thought I was a target demograph
