Posts: 231 Join Date: Oct 2008 |  history so yesterday i look at a book and i was something that moved me. it was a chinese solider putting a gun to someones head and that guy was crying. my dad said it was because the guy spat in the soliders face. i wanted to know what that was about if anyone has see it or knows anything about tell me. |

The man with the gun is the Chief of the South Vietnamese National Police, named Nguyen Ngoc Loan. The man he executed was a Viet Cong prisoner. The photo was taken in early 1968 and was one of the most famous photos of the Vietnam war.
