What would be your first thought if....

That is what I would say, upon discovering somebody was reading my mind. Well, that isn't part of the cosmic KGB... if, for the sake of this example, we accept the concept of God, it is reasonable they could read minds.

I give anybody that can, a worthy show. LOL.

... it depends upon the context. Is this some big dramatic soap opera reveal-type stuff?

If it was somebody I maintained a decent degree of contact with, I'd probably scold myself for being so stupid not to notice something. What follows is dependent upon them, and if they're trying to blackmail or were having a little fun before telling me.

If it's the former, I'd get very flustered. They'd probably see an image of me punching them in the face, if they think they can blackmail me. They may be able to read my mind, but can they move faster than my fist? LOL. Maybe I'll think of punching, but actually kick them.

Multiple personalities would be useful here...

If they're kidding around with me, that's a lot better. I'd like to think they would make better use of mind-reading than focusing on only me, though... unless that's the only person they can read the mind of... which would be kind of weird, LOL. Anyway...

I'd have motivation to come up with the most bizarre/extreme/magnificent stuff, because there is a constant audience. Perhaps this will bring my quality up to such a fine level, it branches off into other avenues... there are ways to benefit from this.

Hmmm....I guess it would depend on who it is and what I don't want them to know...

 

This would most likely be my train of thought:
Uh oh you can read my mind.
That means if I think something really awkward like...
*weird sexual thoughts about the person*
Oh shoot no think about puppies!

Yeah, if someone said "Hey, I can read your mind" it would be like someone saying "Don't think about cats!" and I would instantly think dirty thoughts/images. But let's be real, I think this applies to almost everyone.

 

I'd be really interested in getting to know him/her, and would feel amazed that such a human exists.

Don't think shame would play a role here, I don'tthink I have anthing to me ashamed of, not really
