Default The Gay Vs. The beard.

Ooookay.

Basically me and a friend have a...wager.

For the whole of 2009, he is not allowed to shave his beard.
AND I have 'be straight' as in, I have to get fixed up with a girl at least every 2 weeks
or obviously have a girlfriend.

The first one to fail, has to do the term set by the other.
His include, A full body wax, Shave his head, and give me an extra £15 if I have sex with a girl.

Mine are, they conver a jacket in god knows what and I roam around college all day wearing it, I shave my head and I have to give him an extra £15 if he doesn't cut his hair either.

:')

I'm dreading it.

But I'll win.
I only need to get with 2 lasses within the first month, by which time I'm sure he'll shave.

Oh and this isn't one of those ponsey ones people make that they don't actually do.

We have a 'contract' and our friends have signed it, if we don't do the forfeits they get to beat the person up.

:')

I can't wait.

OH and I'm not allowed to get with a guy either, that's the only downside to this.
As soon as I get over that, I've won this shit!!!

Woooo.

o0o I have a feeling you'll win. From what I've seen on most guys eventually beards get extremely itchy and frustrating to the point where they have to chop it all off.

While this may sound like fun to you, how do you think the girls who you are using are going to feel? This sounds like a VERY bad idea.

Meh, what do I care.

I'll only be getting with them for the night I see them.

Plus when I break up with a girlfriend, I won't care, I won't see them again...

I agree very strongly with these two. Say you do manage to find a girl every two weeks, that's no way to treat somebody. If you get with them you (IMHO) should definately tell them that this is for a bet. Otherwise, you're just using them, and it's very cruel.

Yeah....the morality of this situation seems to be lacking. But I guess this expierence might give you a valuble lesson learned.

I really don't see how this is a good idea. But I guess in all fun. Maybe I'm just getting old. (lol)

How are you not using them? Say you go out to a club and meet her, you flirt with her, she thinks you like her, she starts to like you back, you chalk her up as your girl for the fortnight, then what? You just drop her? Don't answer any texts? Blank her if you ever see her again? Then she's left thinking "Oh, I wonder what I did wrong with that Michael guy. I really liked him. Maybe he thought I was horrible."

And if you have sex with her - for £15?? Really? - then that's even worse. So maybe she's just up for one night with a guy who doesn't like her and who has little or no experience pleasing a girl, but it's more probable that she'll get emotionally invested and then be hurt when you drop her or make it clear that she's nothing more than £15 to you.

Ok, I'm going to stop now, I don't want to rant at you. I just feel very strongly that this wager is not right. Just my two cents. Ok, stopping now.

There is nothing fun, or funny, about using people or hurting their feelings. If the girls are fully aware of what is going on, that is one thing. But, to take a girl out or to sleep with her just to win a bet is absolutely selfish. These girls are people with feelings. How would you feel if a close friend of yours was used just for sex for a bet? People’s emotions are not toys to be played with.

How many posts do we read on EC about EC members who have been hurt by the words or actions of others? Each of us has to decide how we are going to live our lives, and you will make your own choices. As we go through life, we can choose to be good to others, or we can choose the other path. It is up to you. I have found, though, that in the end, you reap what you sow.

Enough preaching by me.

I wouldn't just be seeing her for two weeks.

I COULD be seeing her for the entire year...if I'm lucky.

Aaaand who cares, no sane person get emotionally attatched that quickly, and I'm not the type that people want to be clingy on...trust me.

Calm down.

We all think it's hilarious.

Keep them as far as possible while still keeping them close.

Seriously... when I look at you, I just see 'homo'.
Any girl that gets with you will know on some level and she won't be too surprised.

P.S. I still think it's brilliant.
You have my support.

As long as the girl(s) you get with understand the situation, and are happy to go along with it, I have no qualms. But it seems very morally wrong to string a girl along or mess with their feelings just for the sake of a bet. How do you know that some girl might not fall in love with you? They may just, it's possible ya know. And it wouldn't be fair on them to fool them like that. Do it, by all means; but do it safely and morally. That's all.

Who in the right mind would fall in love with me.
I'm fucking mental. This bet is but one minor clue.
Trust me, no-one is going to get attatched.
