I denied my same-sex attractions for my first 46 years. I identified as a bi-married man for the past 5 years, and just last week accepted that gay is a better identification for me. For as long as I can remember, I could not get into the home improvement projects that my wife wanted me to do. Last night we were at a friend's house and he was showing us their new kitchen and explaining what work he did himself. I noticed and told him how I liked how the white cabinets picked up the white in the marble counter top.... And then it dawned on me - I'm gay of course I'm more into the aesthetics than the construction. Do others feel this way?
Yes as someone that has had an eye for real estate and interior design, I always enjoyed the aesthetics over the actual construction. I remember as a kid I'd build and furnish house after house on The Sims while my friends could care less about the house and more about the characters. Oh how I wish I went to college for interior design instead of business!
