I was just wondering if men are into the whole black long trench coat thing. I'm really interested in picking one up. would this put guys off or? (sorry for my first post being something a bit random)
It's difficult to answer your question as there isn't really an answer other than different people-different tastes. Some guys would probably think a long black trench coat would be the most awesome think on earth, while others might not. Sometimes it just depends on the cut of the coat.
I bought kinda a winter trench coat, but whenever I wore it I felt too fancy and didn't want to come off as a douche. So I only wore it to fancy events or when I wanted to look classy.

honey please it shapes the body and gives it a way better look so i would really recommend it ^_^ as far as i know i got guys hit on me more in the winter than in summer i do connect this with my black long tight trench coat as it does make my body form a very sexy look
I have one to wear with my suit but I rarely wear a suit, especially in the winter. But to answer your question, back in high school the "outcasts" wore trench coats with jeans and it always looked weird to me, but it could be someone else's cup of tea.

I think get one cause if you like it that's what matters if it's able to attract boys that is just a plus. I wouldn't be seen wearing a trench coat cause they'll all be too big for my skinny body. Yes I am a super skinny boy and so I find clothes that best fit skinny boys.
I'm super skinny as well but I seem to fit into some trench coats fine. as long as my arms come out the other side of the sleeves of course
I rarely see trench coats when I go shopping where would you buy one in Australia cause honestly I love them cause you see them on lots of movie boys and I'm honestly a movie boy.
Its slightly easier for me as the Uk is much less hot and much more wet and cold than Australia. And yes the whole movie boy thing makes them much more appealing!
I actually have an old trench coat my dad handed down to me. It's an old Botany 500 made in America trench coat. I only wear it with dress clothes when it's cold, like Psaurus918. My sister actually joked that she felt like I was her security escort when I wear one and go out with her (I usually follow her from a few feet behind to always be on the lookout) :lol:.
This guy knows what's up! Not exactly your target demographic here, but I figured I'd weigh in, as I do own a few trench coats. I have a tan one, a black one, and a leather black one. Technically, I have a fourth one, but that's more so for a personal collecting reason... Anyway, I like them. Keeps you fairly warm, and they can work well as a tarp of sorts, if you need to walk somewhere in the rain. They may also be removed and folded up, making for a make shift pillow. As for how they appear to others, well, that depends. You may get a lot of "are you going to shoot up the place?" questions and jokes -- I did. But other than that, nothing too serious of a problem. As for how they appear to me. Well, there's different styles. Some look more flashy, and others serve a basic function. I can appreciate both.
I think they look sexy. Especially if they have a belt like thing that ties in the waist. A bit feminine...but, very attractive on the right guy IMO.
I personally think they are stylish makes others think god I wish I had a coat like that Plus It sounds like you have the body for it just a suggestion hear but maybe some good shoes to go with it .
