There are some things in this world we can withstand, but there are also things that make us want to pull our hair out.

Whether it's a word, an image, an action, etc...

What are those small little things that make you want to flip a table?

    What are your pet peeves?

There's nothing I despise more than a person chewing gum with their mouth open. Please stop.

If I'm trying to answer a test, I would appreciate it if you didn't move your legs around as if you were having a seizure. I don't need you to stress me out more than I already am.

Lastly... it's a pencil for God's sake. It's meant for writing, not for chewing.

    unintelligent people with opinions

Short lived red lights. On a bad day they are extremely annoying. It basically turns green when I come to a stop... and for it to happen again 100 yards later... OMG lol

When people are brutally honest for just the sake of saying they are. If what is coming out of your mouth is only going to benefit yourself, and you're fully aware, just don't speak. Why upset someone for no reason? And they take pride in it too, that's the frustrating part.

Smacking! Ahhhh! Haha I hate it!

I find all the above amusing as well as annoying.

    Oh boy..

1 - Smacking. My Father smacks on EVERYTHING. It drives me up the wall, haha.
    2 - "Ya know what I mean?"
3 - When people stare at my food while I'm trying to eat.
    4 - Slurping
5 - Blowing your nose while eating out.
6 - Screaming while at the gym.
7 - The word "like" - my friend in High School used that word about 5 times in every sentence.

"Live-tweeting" - seriously, having Twitter and being at an event and posting updates every 15 seconds like every other person does not a journalist make. We live in an era where social media makes everyone feel special and tells them they can be at the forefront of revolutions. Fuckin' Millennials.

    People not using metric.
Typing in a way I cannot read it.
People using incorrect phrases and calling "pet hates" "pet peeves".
People who act like the people at my school (my one blog post explains that).
My brother always going on about me having bad eyesight, and saying I am blind; I HAVE 20/60 VISION, NOT 20/200!!!

The phrase "it is what it is".
    Heavy snorers.
People who like to keep the window open when it's minus 20 degree because they have a thick blanket while I have a thin one. All the while trying to convince the cold isn't real.
Monosyllabic replies when texting: "lol", "ok", "yes"

Does this mean you hate me? D:

    Never heard of "pet hates".

    Here are some more:

    "No offense, but..."

Oh, you heard one song and suddenly you're a #1 fan? Good for you!

Please don't small talk me or I will never speak to you again.

    "Nobody cares." Except you, apparently.

"Omg, I literally died." No, you didn't.

That group of hipster teens at the movies that can't fuckin' shut up.

    Dirty dishes.

"That is not mah job." (Drake and Josh reference)

Being interrupted or not listened to while talking.

There are so many more, I'll list them as this thread develops.

when people eat and do it REALLY loudly! Just because your not eating out at a restaurant doesn't mean I want to hear your food every time we have dinner.

And smacking your lips whether your chewing gum or eating just makes me want to lose it.

I really hate when people say gay when they mean stupid, like "that's so gay"
Especially when the person involved doesn't realize they're associating gay people with stupidity...
Also, people playing loud music around me. Earbuds were invented for a reason.
Oh, and the word bae. Ugh.

There's nothing wrong with "pet peeves"; it's a perfectly legitimate phrase.

    That reminds me:

-People who are pedantic and prone to "hypercorrect". "Shouldn't it be 'don't talk to he and I?'" No, actually, it's "him and me". Replacing all instances of "me" with "I" doesn't make it correct.
-When people write "could of" instead of "could have".
-The misuse of the word "literally".
-When people text while they're talking to me so they're only half-paying attention!
