I'm a horror movie nut. If I had to pick just one though,The Exorcist was the scariest I ever saw. I really liked "The Hunger" as well

^ Terminator can pass as horror? Yeah seeing how repetitive the plot is I think it's horror or more like: total pornography :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:.

Can't name a favorite but just the ones I've manage to watch and remotely liked:

Hostel. Probably one of the very few horrors I've watched. O yeah...also: The Final destinations.

Hostel was a dissapointment though, seeing how the director stereotypically portrays the region where I am from as a "very dangerous" place full of "traditional women" who are also hookers and are dieing to have sex with American men - gtfo lol .

    The Shinning
    A Nightmare on Elm Street
Silence of the Lambs (not sure if it's horror exactly, but still)
    Halloween
    The Exorcist
    Identity
    The Orphanage
    A Tale of Two Sisters
    Texas Chainsaw Massacre
    The Others
    Sinister
    The Sixth Sense

And probably more that aren't coming to mind. I love horror movies

The exorcist, The shinning, Pet cemetery... If we talk about post 60s.

All by Lugosi, Karloff, Cushing, Christopher Lee, Vincent Price...

One of my all time favs is The night of the hunter. To me that's true horror, the scariest monster must be the human monster.

Oh god Hostel was so messed up! I liked it though.. And yeah I did notice that! But instead of the women being crazy bitches I saw them as cute as fuck :icon_wink But.. then I saw they only like American men and it broke my heart a little.. where was the sexy lesbian scene?! DAMMIT. Honestly I know what you mean.. I'm sure there are plenty of cute women where you are who like to live their life free but not slutty free! If that's even a term.

Anyway.. yeah good movie otherwise! And omg Axelle in Hostel 2! :eusa_droo ♥

Halloween! Good one too! Sinister was just plain fucked up

I liked the sixth sense.. I classify that more a thriller or mystery. Pretty sure it is a thriller anyway.. I don't know why but.. It didn't scare me that much.

. I heard there is "Hostel 2" but it's similar to the first part?

By the way....once I stumbled upon some movie of men killing "lesbian vampires" 0_0. And NO I haven't watched it. It was British/English horror comedy I think. But thought the plot of the lesbian-vampires was original yet extremely dumb and offensive.

And @Wiseotter that film is literally called lesbian vampire hunters and is based off the myth of a female vampire that inspired Dracula. It's alright.

    Jaws (1975):
    Good film.

A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master (1988):
Not the best of the series, but it's my personal favorite, due to a combination of nostalgia and the special effects.

    Day of the Dead (1985):
The epitome of a zombie film, along with Night of the Living Dead and Dawn of the Dead. But this one has Captain Rhodes, a truly superb antagonist.

Friday the 13th, Part 4: The Final Chapter (1984):
In continuity, Part 3 and 4 happen in the same 48 hours. In fact, 4 picks up EXACTLY where 3 leaves off, so a simple edit would make it all one film. However, I've always enjoyed this film a little bit more.

    Puppet Master series (1989):
The films are nothing spectacular. In fact, they're quite bad. However, I like the puppet designs, and as the series goes on, while not remarkable pieces of work, do get a little better.

    Aliens (1986):
I enjoy the first three Alien films, but the second beautifully balances Horror and Science-Fiction with the Action genres. Many will claim it isn't a Horror film, but that's stupid... there are still creatures killing and stalking, despite there being more one-liners and guns.

    Halloween (1979):
Doesn't really need an explanation. Now, the sequels...

    Child's Play 2 (1990):
I'm not a big Chucky fan. Though I do like Brad Dourif, the guy who voices him, because it is the perfect voice. While I find the first film to be tolerable, the second one really allows us to see Chucky, well, be himself more. The scene in the school closet is hilarious to me, because it shows how short-tempered Chucky is.

I tend to avoid "haunting" movies, because they bore me to tears.
