Are you mature/immature?

I'm not even physically or mentally mature yet, so I'll go with immature.(!)

 

Mature.

 

I'm mature, but I tell people I'm immature so that I can avoid taking responsibility.

I guess that makes me really immature... actually ...

 

I have been an unholy hybrid between an elderly man and a toddler since I was six years old. Autism. It's like one part of you ages too quickly, and the other part of you stays almost in neutral for a while, maybe catching up eventually or maybe not. Although I might intellectually have wisdom far beyond my years, I can have childish tantrums and show other behaviors that are commensurate with a much younger age-group. I even skip about and toe-walk like a toddler, even without being fully conscious of it. Yes, in my thirties.

I'm also kind of a big deal.

 

I don't even know. I think I'm mature but also like the topic of sex makes me uncomfortable.
I have a mature thought process and views, but thats about it.

 

I think I'm a little bit of both; I can be mature if I need to be... but that's no fun. :/

But in all seriousness, I'm pretty mature. Yet I can play both sides of the fence if I want to.

 

I'm mature when it matters, or has to be done.

However, to say I am, without a doubt, absolutely mature, is immature of me. Why?

I am always learning, be it about others, myself, or life in general. There tends to be obstacles and situations that challenge me, and that includes my patience and ability to be, well, mature. Since I intend to always learn, I shall always be, in some ways and at some times immature.

In other words, I can be both.

I'm kind of both. A lot of people mistake my age and think I'm way older then I am because of my maturity levels but then again I think being too mature is being uptight and it's good to act your age sometimes and make mistakes.

 

Depends on the situation and the social circle I am around. If I am at work or in public typically I am mature. Around my friends and family I will shift between maturity and immaturity. I actually believe i isn't a good idea to be indefinitely attached to either one. If you are too immature you aren't responsible typically and if you are too mature you are typically a stick in the mud.

 

I think I'm a mix between the two. I can be mature when I need to be, but I also have my immature moments :rolle:

I'm certain I'll look back at these years as immature when I'm 60, so I don't think I'll call myself mature quite yet. Capable in some respects? Perhaps. I still wouldn't go so far as to call myself truly mature.
