This may be an oversimplification, so if this offends you then I'm sorry! Straight - door swings one way Gay/Lesbian - door swings the other way Bisexual - door swings both ways Pansexual - revolving door Demisexual - door is locked Asexual - door is actually a wall I've actually started using this to quickly explain to people what some of these sexualities are, what do you think?
That's kinda cool, actually, I'm not offended by that Some people refer to bisexual people as "double-adaptors" but I'm pretty sure that is used in order to mock/belittle/ridicule/poke fun at us, so I certainly would NOT be using that word! :/ Anyways, one way of explaining I have thought of to work (idk if it actually does, but I guess we'll see) is by telling a straight person to "imagine the opposite gender being divided into two sections, or groups. One may be the LGBTIQ of that gender, the other the heterosexuals of that gender. Now, imagine the common thing is for people to only like one of those sections. Yet you still like both, right? That's kind of how it feels." I don't know if that would work, but I'm thinking later on when I eventually come out to some of my friends that is the way I'll try doing it. Meh, I don't know though :/
I think for my door has a bouncer in front of it... But like the club is always packed but it seems like it's impossible to get in without being on like the list or something! And the club has like free arcade machines and there's like bubbles everywhere and pink strobe lights, and live bands and a heated pool and unicorn rides and... I totally forgot what we were talking about.... o.o
Very good, although I feel as though for demisexual you could put that the door is locked until somebody lets them in.
:eusa_clap:eusa_clap Beautiful. I like the revolving door analogy for pan. People keep coming around of all shapes and sizes but it keeps turning.
