I was about to post HMS Victory or the Cutty Sark on the ships thread, before I realised. So yeah, HMS Victory (Nelson's flagship), the Cutty Sark, and HMS Belfast (famous in D-Day landings).
Tug-boats always make me happy. Sometimes, I go down to the harbor, where a bunch of them are docked, and just observe them... they look so cute!
The Golden Hind, Sir Francis Drake's ship, which he used to circumnavigate the world in the sixteenth century. The H.M.S. Nancy, a schooner employed as a British supply ship in the War of 1812. It was attacked by three American vessels on the Nottawasaga River, the U.S.S. Niagara, U.S.S. Scorpion, and U.S.S. Tigress. Facing overwhelming odds, the crew scuttled her to allow a retreat, which was succesful, barring one dead and one injured. They would go on to capture two of the three ships, the Tigress and Scorpion. The Nancy's hull is preserved at a museum in my town of Wasaga Beach. The Queen Anne's Revenge, pirate Edward Thatch (more commonly known as Blackbeard)'s flagship.
Sleuth. This, for those who don't know, was the fictional boat the Hardy Boys got in 1928, and kept at least through the 70s. It was used as they solved countless mysteries on Barmet Bay, and it grabbed my imagination when I was but a wee lad.
Steal my little joke why don't you! HMS QE is just a stunning ship, she looks absolutely gorgeous! It was built just 120 miles from where I live, so when I drive South I would take a detour for a look. She is huge! You almost can't imagine it's size, 4 747's could fit on the flight deck! it's THAT big!
Carriers are incredible. They are tied for my favorite boat with extremely-stupendously-sized super yachts. Only because I can (in theory) privately own the latter and not the former XD. Huge image of a luxury yacht Possibly a CG render?
The Black Pearl!!!!! But in all seriousness, the Battle Ship NJ, and the boats my school uses for our marine science program.
As a teenager, I remember seeing the end credits for old Hawaii Five-O episodes before old episodes of Perry Mason, and found the boat shown interesting. Clip here, although some here might have trouble seeing the boat instead of the guys in it...
