Quite simple this time: How would you define honesty? Would you call yourself a honest person? And of Corse general thoughts about the topic =P
Identifying truth, performing truthfully. I'm really working on it. Hehe, it's interesting how objective truth is even though we can't comprehend completely its objectivity. It's subjective to how we percieve it. Religion is a mind#### when it comes to stuff like this, unfortunately.
Being truthful in important matters. Because no one is ever 100% truthful. I would say i'm quite an honest person, but would probably forsake honesty if it would hurt someone in anyway.
Honesty is about a lack of deception to me, rather than just telling the truth. It's a pretty fine line, though, and I'm not even sure if there's much of a difference. In terms of other people, I think I'm one of the more honest people I know. I don't think I'd want to be any more honest than I am now, though. It'd just end up hurting people. I'm not very honest with myself, though.
To me it means communicating your thoughts and emotions clearly and effectively throughout your relationships (any kind of relationship: lovers, friends, family, coworkers, etc.) I think this is detrimental in all human relationships. In terms of me personally I try to live as honestly as I can. This was a very valuable lesson I learned from my first very serious and passionate relationship.
