Awkward Compliments You Have Received

I was told by a girl I was kind of friends with that I made an ugly girl but would make a cute guy.

 

Not really a compliment at me. But an elderly couple stopped me walking my dog and began to pet him saying, "he's so beautiful." Over and over again.

They then proceeded to ask me if I was willing to sell him to them.

That whole conversation was so bizarre and uncomfortable.

 

Every compliment I get is awkward since I'm awkward. But I think it would have to be: "Your eyebrows are on point"
"What?" *feels eyebrow*
"your eyebrows are nice"
"oh aha"

 

I was getting a breast exam, and the doctor said that I had pretty eyes.

 

People have randomly came up to me and started petting me saying my hair was soft

 

"You look so young. Oh gosh, you're so...cuuute!"

"I would love to watch you and your boyfriend have sex" (a drunk girl in Portland)

"Well, you're so...brave. I couldn't ever do it." (a couple people on gender transition)

"I could almost mistake you for a man in public" (a gay man)

"You write good...for your age."

"I would have sex with you if I wasn't a total lesbian"

 

Any compliment I get seeing as I don't know how to take complements without feeling weird

 

I was walking along I a suit one day, when I heard "What lovely socks!" Behind me, and turned around to see this old woman beaming at me. :icon_bigg

In her defence, I was wearing blue and yellow socks with penguins on :icon_redf

me , blush and almost start crying and put my hand over my mouth. i take almost all compliments weirdly.
apart from "you give great hugs" that ill accept them give them another one ^__^

 

"You're very smart for someone in a wheelchair" What do you say to that? <awkward pause> Thank you.

It started normal, until this guy, who had baggy Jordan shorts and timberland boots on and a cigarette behind his ear followed me into the parking lot. He then asked where I got my haircut. I ignored him.

He sat there squatting on the ground and lit up a cigarette while I loaded my groceries hoping I wouldn't have to knock him out.

He then got up and asked me "are you a man?"

I'm like no.

Are you?

No, go away.

I don't care if you are or not, you're beautiful.

Why thank you.

Next thing he says,

How did you do it?

Do what?

Come out to your family?

I haven't yet.

Oh I'm terrified myself. I'm gay but I know my family won't accept me and I'm freaking out. My brother knew and loved me but he died. I'm scared and alone.

Can I have your phone number?

No, sorry.

Please.

No I'm sorry.

At least let me hug you?

Ok.

His mom pulls up.

I'm like you better get in the car before you have to explain why you are hugging a very tall random woman in the parking lot.

Most surreal experience I've ever had.

 

Wow thats really freaking creepy, well most of the compliments I get make me feel awkward or weird and I am wondering like, "why are you complimenting me"

 

"you look like Barbie" - really?!... Ugh

"perfect ass!" - as a group of guys drove by me getting into my car at the mall parking lot

"The perfect combination of sexy and cute" - by a male friend.. Which made friendship a little awk.

"Your eyes are so mysterious" - how are eyes mysterious?

 

"Wow, you ride him so well." -A little girl

"Him" referring to a horse. Not in a strange way.

 

"Your hair is so soft. I wish I had black people hair!"
