To counter my thread in the Anonymous Discussion board, what do you love about yourself or your life?

My intelligence: I know a lot of stuff because of it and it makes me an all-around better, more tolerant person
My friendliness: People come up to me and actually start conversations with me because I'm friendly or at least appear to be to them. A smile and simple chit-chat can save someone's day
My finances (or at least most of my parents!): I'm able to enjoy things such as a computer, a good amount of clothes, and mutiple cars to drive inthat a lot of people don't have
My friends and acquintences: They let me have fun and enjoy a good laugh, even if the joke is usually on me LOL

Well, I dislike a lot more things about me than I love. LOL

i love that my school life is going so well (3.4 GPA woot!)
i also love that my bestestest guy friend came out to me today and he trusted me enough to be the first person he told :]

-My interest in Social Justice. Because it seemed no one else cared, I went out to certain events and made the majority of my college friends that way. People take you seriously too, if you legitimately care.

-My voice, musical-wise. I used to be very embarrassed of singing because my sister teased me and coming out as a singer to me seemed like it might reveal my homosexuality. It didn't so far... I got my first solo in a musical my junior year, and everyone was so surprised and happy and friendly! Since then I joined a choir, then a barbershop quartet, and now I'm in a men's a cappella group and it is really fun.

Drawing skills. It's fun, and cathartic, thank goodness. Occasionally I've drawn the portraits of friends as gifts. It's also fun to be doodling and then people come up and say, "Oh wow, I didn't know you can draw!" It's like being left-handed, except there's nothing negative about drawing. Except bad posture, but I work on that more than non-drawers anyway. Haha, "drawers"... tangent.

- I'm usually a pretty optimistic person. It's pretty hard to get me really sad/depressed.
