It's 7:30 AM and I'm at the computer. Why? Because I just got my final results, and I had to share them.
The ENTER score is basically the percentage of students you performed better than, if my understanding's correct. You get a study score for each of your subjects, between 0 and 50, where 30 is the median and 40 means you're in the top 10% of the state. Those scores are scaled and they do something fancy with them to calculate your ENTER.

    94.1.

I finished in the top 6% of the state.

    OH YEAH!

The best part? I'm in the top 2% of the state for English, which I thought I'd messed up.

Well done Maddy !! What course do you want to do ?

Mum woke me up at 8:00 so she could find out what I got for French (which I didn't really want to find out about, but anyway) This time next year, I'll hopefully know if I will get into the course I want (Film & TV at Swinburne), but until then, Year 12, here I come.

Primary school teaching at Deakin. The clearly-in score is about 73, so I don't think I'll have a problem getting an offer for that. How did you go for French?

    My marks:
    English: A+ A+ A+
    German: A+ A A
    Chinese: B+ B+ C+
    Health: A+ A+ A
    Maths: A+ A A+

Oh yeah, you're definitely in

Your marks seem fantastic too, well done ! It seems like you worked hard this year (harder than I did, anyway).

I got 35 for my study score for French, A for the 3 GAs. I'm mildly disappointed, probably due to all the pressure that everyone seemed to put on me to do well in it. In 2007, that scaled up to 46. Hopefully it will scale up more by the end of next year :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    ...Wow.

I got my scholarship offer in the mail today. They're not just offering one scholarship.

They're offering three. One payment of $2000 in my first year, one that covers all the course costs for the whole length of the course, and one that covers my accommodation for the same length of time.
I don't know if I can accept them all yet or whether I have to choose one. But whoa.
