    Any trades you guys are happy or disappointed in? Any favourite teams?

    I just found out my favourite player of the Vancouver Canucks (Bieksa) has been traded to Anaheim for a second round pick. :frowning2:

    My best friend is a Canucks fan and literally has no idea wtf they are doing this offseason, but I told him I'm happy to be the beneficiary.

    I'm not a big Hockey fan.

    But of all the sports there are, it is the one I prefer watching the most. It rarely stops the action, it's fast paced, and goes by quickly.

    If geographical loyalty is what you want, the closest Hockey team to me is the Nashville Predators. If you want favorite jerseys, that would be the primarily black San Jose Sharks one. If you want my favorite over all, well, I don't have one...

    I didn't really have any expectations for this off-season so I'm pretty neutral. I'm concerned that there have been no steps taken to improve our anemic offense, but at the same time the free agent pool was incredibly weak and we don't have many assets to trade. I'd like to see something happen before October though.

    All the this. Juice is my favourite Canuck. I own his jersey and everything.

    He was the fucking heart and soul of the team. I hope they retire his jersey, or at least bring him back so he can retire as a Canuck.

    RED WINGS. I'm ready for the season to start.

    I'm not pleased about Brad Richards and indifferent with Mike Green. As long as we keep Nyquist, Tatar, Sheahan, and Jurco, I'll be okay.

    Typically I am a ranger fan, but I like the Penguins and the Blackhawks as well.

    Penguins could be a powerhouse if Kessel and Crosby work out. now the Penguins have 2 A listers, and on B+ listers for scoring. They just need better defense now

    Oh no Bieska was traded??

    See I was very up to date with ice hockey when I lived in Vancouver (go Canucks!) but I've been unable to follow it very closely where I live now. I did watch their play off games though but unfortunately they didn't make it to the finals. Anyhow, I still love Vancouver Canucks and I'll keep supporting them. I'm not very up to date with the trades though, sad to hear Bieska going.
