Would you start your whole life over again if you were given the option?

Basically I was thinking about life and I wish that I could start things over again and do things differently, I am really fed up at the moment and abit confused about everything, I am wondering if anyone else feels like this so I am not the only one that feels this way lol... I would say more but I really can't be bothered to type anymore lol.

I mean... If I started over and knew everything I did now? Most likely.

But I wouldn't re-start any of my life before 4th grade. (Basically I'd rather turn 10 instead of being a baby XP)

    Probably. I mean, who wouldn't?

Starting over from birth, though... yikes. Make me 12 again and we have a deal.

    mm, no

I feel like I want to stay with my experiences thus far, even if they don't turn out well

if I get to keep what I know now? I'd think about it

Hm, no, I don't think there's anything really worth taking the time to fix.

Nope nope nope, perhaps it is because that most of the misfortunes so far that I have aren't exactly due to my decisions but rather my parents and the way I'm born... If there's nothing you can do about, there's no point in restarting your life and going through the same process again.

Jeez this is a tricky one. Would I go and change somethings that happened in life from the time I was born sure I would. There are many things that obviously could of been very different had my life gone in a different direction. Especially when it comes to growing up. You cannot always help the environment you grow up in for most part and of course I don't blame my parents for making the decisions they did like move from a big city to a smaller city or be a part of the catholic church or whatever. They just did it and I try not to hold any resentment against them because that would not be fair.

A major thing is my boyfriend of two years who died in February. Would i rather never have meet him and had the life changing experiences being that he would eventually suddenly. I don't regret meeting and falling in love with him. And in spite of him dying I am actually a more stronger and ambitious and hard headed person because of him so know I would not start life over.

You can live your live dragging on about your regrets and pains and sorrows or you can channel that regret into action and making a impact in the future especially when it comes to younger generations. Do things for people so they don't have to go through the hell you might of went through like giving them that support and encouragement. So yeah of course I would change a few things if I could but starting life over would just be so much stressful and full of anxiety. I rather learn from my mistakes and my trials and move on to a better future.

Personally, if I had the option then I would probably take it. It's kind of weird trying to think how I would of turned out if I had done things differently...

I suppose it depends on whether I had any previous knowledge on my previous life and what mistakes I've made... because, if I didn't I'd probably end up doing the same things again that got me into this mess. :icon_bigg

I know I used to put a lot of thought into this question when I was younger, but I kind of wish now that I'd spent that time just living my life. After all, life is full of regrets and sometimes it's best to move on and learn from our mistakes. Not always possible, but hey it's a nice thought.

No. I haven't done anything that I really regret. And as a few posters have said somethings that happen are just beyond your control.
