For me I'd have to say checking other guys out in the locker room. I'm not ashamed

yea, no shame here neither. the locker room was the best part, then i have to remind myself that i wasn't out at the time. gym overall.
i also used to look at the bulges of male teachers and wondered how big they were or how they looked like shirtless....is that a bad thing?
having straight guys come up to you wondering why certain girls like you more then they do and they can't figure out a damn thing? that was fun, at least for me

Well, I certainly don't have to be worried about being normal or boring.

I'm the farthest thing from normal. Ha!

I also get to pick out my own name, and eventually get to regulate my own hormone doses. So I guess that's a mixed bag...

There is nothing I can think of. It was a heteronormative world. And I have no good gay memories at all. It's all sadness and self hate. Now life is better and I love being gay. I think you can check out guys without them thinking you like them too. Because a straight guy doesn't expect you to like him but, a straight girl does.

Damn yes the locker room. What a glorious place, well that and sauna.

also i have no problem at all talking to girls since i have almost no intention whatsoever while a lot of other boys are too shy or get stuttered during early middle school.

Best experiences... I can't say I've had good experiences with being gay, but one positive aspect is that I'm more empathetic otherwise. Also, being respected when you stand up against your peers when they looked down on you at first when coming out.

Not really many good experiences, mostly hiding and being ashamed and that stuff.
But I always enjoyed when a special girl hugged me lol

The best part for me is that I have people to talk to, whether it be here or some of my friends now. Now that people know, I'm slowly becoming more open about myself to the rest of the world. I have one social media account that shows my preferred name and pronouns and two people I know from school are followers and I didn't freak out once. On another my username is the same as here, showing my prefer name, and my mum follows that one. She hasn't asked about it.

    Talking. It helps.

Yeah, I guess choosing my name is pretty neat. I mean my parents would never have called me that.

Otherwise, I don't have that much happy experiences about it.

  12. Getting to see guys change in the locker room  Also at the pool, I got to see naked guys my age (I'll leave it at that).

There was no joy other than seeing a guy's balls in like 8th grade. He was doing a pull up for gymn outside, and I got a view at the perfect angle as he leaned back. Everyone else was on the other side.

Being that I got terrorized sometimes and had my shirt thrown in the urinal before, I usually changed in the spare bathroom for gymn away from all the other guys. Plus, I didn't want to get "caught".
