Not sure if a thread like this has been made before. But yeah, I'm Chinese myself and I'm just wondering if anyone here is as well?
Hey! I was born in China yes, grew up in Canada, now I'm living in Hong Kong though I might be moving soon. From a completely Chinese bloodline haha. Nice to meet you! Hey! Haha that's awesome, it's cool to meet you as well :smilewave
Yes, me too! I was born in NZ, but find America better. Cultural differences make Americans more upfront and genuine to me, that is the way I like it, in the good and the bad. Also, my bloodline is from HK . Actually, I was living there for the entire last year working, I find it pretty great to be able to try out my cantonese. Can you speak also? ---------- Post added 25th Jul 2015 at 10:44 PM ---------- Nothing wrong with that Andrew! It's all skin deep .
Ahh good to hear you're happy where you are That's awesome, HK is a pretty great place. It took some getting used to after moving from Canada to here, but it's been a good few years. I can speak some Cantonese, but I mostly speak Mandarin and English to family, and primarily English to friends. A lot of different cultures, what with my family/ancestry, the way I grew up, my education, and my social circles. It's pretty diverse and I find it really interesting and nice. I agree- Andrew, nothing wrong with that! Was just curious, only reason I made this thread
Hello fellow Chinese people! I was adopted from there so I don't know if I count... Lived there for 6 months in an orphanage before I actually became a US citizen.
