Hey guys! I'm curious as to what your 18th birthday plans were or are? I'm curious because mine's coming up, I live in a mid-sized town with nothing to do.
My current plans are to take two of my best friends to the casino just North of the Red River Texas-Oklahoma border, and just have some fun, gamble a bit, dance (not in the clubs because 21 to get into those) but dance in the generic dancing areas. Mostly play slots, a very small amount of blackjack (my friend can count cards but he's not stupid, he does it up to $900 in winnings then leaves for the day)

ANYWAY, what are/were your 18th birthday plans? I'm curious because if anybody's got something better I might take it lol

well my 18th birthday was a little under 2 years ago (my 20th is in a month). i basically just invited close friends around got drunk and watched horror movies. If it wasn't for the rain we would have had a bonfire, camped outside, gotten drunk and done a bunch of stupid stuff

I went drinking with my friends but our legal drinking age is 18.

I think we did a pub crawl but I don't remember all of the details. I think that whatever you do, it doesn't have to be big and it doesn't have to be exciting. Just do something that makes you happy.

If I remember correctly, I got to sleep in until about noon because it was on a weekend. Then I had a small party with just family and friends that was pretty fun. Later that day, my parents drove me to a tattoo artist so I could get my first tattoo, went to get something for dinner, and then I bought lottery tickets and we went home. So that was how my 18th birthday went. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I would suggest getting drunk, which is what I did on my 18th birthday, but I realise you're in the US so can't legally do that. You say you live in a mid-sized town though, so maybe you can take a bottle of Jack Daniels to your local park.

When I turn 18 and graduate I swear the first thing I'm doing is going on my high school's roof and have a mini party there.

I've seen a few people do it before

My cousins and I went to a water park. It was fun, but not very exciting.

haha mine was really lame compared to you guys. we went and got fish and chips (haha typical british thing) and had a dinner with my grandparents who came down for my birthday. yeah.....lame sounding indeed but it was not like i was going to get drunk or anything as in the past (around 10 years old to 14) i had operations and and basically alot of tests that involved anaesthetics having to be used and due to my experience with those i have a fear of mind altering substances (such as drugs or alcohol)

I didn't celebrate my birthday. My mum kept asking me why I didn't want to celebrate, just didn't feel like it was all that important. So I pretty much stayed home all day and played Dragon Age and Fallout 3(time well spent in my book:icon_bigg). My 24th birthday is next week, still don't feel like it's anything too important to celebrate... Though maybe I might suggest going to This one nice fondue place over the weekend or something, just to make my mum feel better about it since she keeps asking me what I want to do this year. Not really expecting gifts or anything, spending time with family is always good enough for me.

I invited a good sized number of friends over and had a party. There was music, good food, plenty of alcohol and a homemade birthday cake. I had fun, but it wasn't particularly thrilling.

I didn't even celebrate it. But 'back then' it didn't fit so if I'd turn 18 again I'd celebrate it with my closest friends and family. Nothing special though, it's just a number for me after all.

Me and a small group of friends got a limo and went to the casino. I'm not one for "big" birthdays but it was fun
