Depends on the kind of porn they do, and if they're clean. But yeah why not, in a world where sex isn't as taboo or stigmatized would a movie star be all that different than a porn star?

 

I would. If my partner ever did that for a living, I'd support him in it. As long as it was a good living, he enjoyed it, and he didn't feel exploited. He'd have to be protected and test often. But working in the industry doesn't mean you less of a person. Hell, one of my bosses is a porn actress. I don't think less of anyone for doing porn if it's something they like doing and I certainly wouldn't judge someone if that's what they decided to do.

I would like to think that I would be able to date a porn actor, but in reality, I probably would not. Yes, I'm aware this is unfair for the guys who do this as a living.

Point A

Considering sex is probably a pretty normal thing for people in healthy relationships to engage in, I think dating a porn actor would set unrealistic expectations in the bedroom. Even if the guys were mentally on the same level, I feel like the vast difference in sexual experience would drive a barrier in between them.

Point B

I think monogamy includes both emotional and physical aspects. If you're dating a porn actor, then they aren't monogamous physically.

Would I date a retired actor? I think it would be hard to get past Point A. If you could get past Point A though, they tested cleanly of disease, and the guy was monogamous emotionally and physically, I don't see why we couldn't date each other.
