I'm 51 an have always wanted to get my ears pierced. What does everyone think about pierced ears on older guys and if yes what should I get?

The fist question I have is: Why do you want an earring or errings?

If you want attention, you'll get it. However, the kind of attention may not always be what you are looking for.

I say NO. But if you insist, make them or it as inconspicuous as possible.

Personally, I'm suspicious of men who decorate themselves - anywhere, and that includes tats.

I'm not sure what you should get, but if you want them I say go for it. It's not important what other people think, as that shouldn't factor into your thinking. This is something you've always wanted. Go for it.

If you change your mind later, you can always remove them.

Here is what I found in a quick Google image search. This may help give you some ideas on the type of earrings you should get.

I think all of these look pretty good and classy for a guy. I believe a lot will depend on your hairstyle, as well as whether or not you're trying to actively draw attention to your earrings, or you are looking for a more conservative yet stylish and professional look.

If you want to do it then do it! Go to the shop, find some you like and have it done. :3

It depends on how you look. I saw a few of older people with earrings and it didn't suit them but some people with earrings it did suit them.

I say go for it and if all else, if you don't want to get the full commitment, try clip-on earrings to see if you like how they look on. Then you can decide if you want to get the real thing.

Life is too short to worry about what others think. Seriously, just get them. They are pretty sexy on guys.

Earrings look great regardless of gender or age. I know a 46 year old who has his ears pierced twice on each ear (and he wears "feminine clothing", and has his hair long.)

I also have my ears and lip pierced and will keep it that way even when I am older.

If you want it, get it.
