Normality is constantly brought about in everyday life. Everything is compared to normality; finances, people, jobs, hobbies, state of being.

But what is normal? More importantly, what is your definition of normal? Does normality even exists? Could it possibly exists?

Sorry, I feel like being philosophical tonight.

No, normal is manufactured. Relative. Very probably nonexistent.

As is said: "Don't worry. You're unique, just like everyone else." =)

Normality is what we perceive everyone else to be doing which isn't socially stupid or weird. Individuality is celebrated, but you can't have too much of it, lest you end up being a social outcast.

"Normal" is just a perception. Nothing more.

normal doesn't have a definite definition.
i mean yea it means that something is conventional, or common or whaever,
but people are so different in so many aspects that it's hard to
pinpoint out what is "normal" and what is not.

    Normal is a paradox.

You see, it's like this: Everyone's weird in some way or another, right? Therefore we all have weirdness in common. Since we have all that in common it makes us normal, while normal people are weird because they don't have weirdness in common because they're normal. Since those normal people are weird, they're normal because they now do have weirdness in common, but this makes them weird because they're normal, and hence weird...so weird and normal keep going round in a circle and therefore don't exist.

    I'm confused.

Since this topic is about "normal" not a "normal person". Of course normality exists.

Does normality exists in human behavior? <--- I think that's the question everybody is answering.

So either I got the wrong message (Which is the most probable thing, it's what I do  ), or the OP didn't quite sent the message right, or some other ppl are getting the wrong message...

Combined with "you're unique, just like everyone else" is one of my favourite quotes...

    "Everyone is someone else's weirdo"

"Normal" is a state of mind, what's normal for you will be "unusual" to some, and "just plain weird" to others.

"Normal" is completely based on opinions.
What one person constitutes normal, another may not.
Everybody has their own definition of normal.
And, if you don't want to believe in normality, then your normal doesn't exist.

We have a different saying over here:"You're nothing but a pawn in a greater game. Nothing special. Nothing unique."

I don’t say normal because I hate that word with a fiery passion. To me normal or not normal doesn't exist. People say "that isn't normal" because we've been custom in this lifestyle of what we're use to seeing everyday. But when people see someone breaking that mold, then it's not normal in their eyes. I look outside the box, some others don’t.

Normal is something that isn't considered taboo in most cases I've seen.

I'm really not the right person to talk about normal, as i'm anything but normal but i always think normal is relative, for example what's normal to me would be very weird for most people and vice versa. So i guess, no something can never be truly normal to everyone, i never thought about that before lol is relative, for example what's normal to me would be very weird for most people and vice versa
