    Since EC has members from around the world, the post time is in your perspective, like how I'm posting this around midnight, while someone in Africa is posting in the morning. I'm curious--who's an early bird, night owl, and such? This is for times you function best, not when you have to go to school or work.

    Edit: Ha, figured out how to make a poll! I there are other types you could think of, please let me know.

    Night owl ever since college. Working 2nd shift from 4:00-12:30 AM for a year in a call center only cemented it more. I have no qualms about working an 11-8 job.

    Night owl for sure. I have no problem staying up fully awake until 3 am, but it's basically suffering to have to get up at 6 to go to school. On holidays I naturally wake up somewhere between 10 am to noon.

    I can morph into either an early bird or night owl depending on my habits.

    However, the majority of my life I have been a night owl. I don't usually start to get tired until around 11:30 PM ish. And I have no trouble going to bed 1 AM most nights, even if I get up at 6:45 AM. :slight_smile:

    I also like the feeling of sleeping in, even though I know it's not the best way to start off the day if you want to get a lot done.

    Definitely a vampire. I kind of like darkness. It's actually quite calming if you're in the right environment.

    I'm somewhere between "normal" and night owl, usually I'm about 9am-2am. I work afternoons/evenings for the most part & my bf works days so my body is somewhere in between. I'd naturally be up till 3-4am everyday but he & the occasional day shift keeps my body ready for sleeping to 6am-11am on days off.

    Eh, mostly an owl with vampire tendancies. I sleep during the day, and I'm typically up until sunrise.

    "Normal". I like my sleep. Had to wake up at 4am once a week for breakfast radio earlier this year, and my body wasn't happy.

    05:55 - 23:00 on a normal day, 05:55 - 22:00 if I can wrap my day up early.

    I'm usually on EC (if at all) in the morning before 08:00 or in the late afternoon.

    I typically sleep 10 hours if I have no classes or work in the morning, so I usually wake up at 10-11am. Most of my posts are made between 8pm-12am, and then I go to sleep.

    That's not the case this morning of course, because I need to catch a train and two buses, in a city I am not familiar with.

    I work 24 hour shifts, so I'm a switcher. It's now 7.50am in the UK, but I have been awake since 4.30am. Even on my days off I'm usually waking by 7.00am. Probably more inclined towards early bird or normal.

    somewhere between normal and night owl, but i picked night owl because i usually don't wake up till an 1hr before midday unless i'm busy.
