    We all imagine what it would be like if we invented that product, started that company, created that Youtube channel, or dropped that award-winning album, but what career would you actually want to live? You are welcome to pick multiple.

    J.K. Rowing

    If you remember any of my past posts, then none of this will be interesting because obviously I am kicking this thread off with J.K. Rowling. If I had a genie in a bottle, then world peace would have to wait because there is a solid chance that I will be a official published novelist in 2016 and I don't have time to flop! I wasn't built for the struggle! Either these books are going to have to pay the bills or this body will!

    Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

    Alright, I don't have to be filthy rich, but I would love to have a career where I was both a respected author and activist. Unlike Adichie, I am a western native, but I would love nothing more than to be able to work with social activist groups and nonprofit organizations in the third world. The combination of being a novelist, professor, and advocate would definitely make for an exciting career.

    Janet Mock/Anderson Cooper

    Journalism has always been something that I have been interested in, but never wanted to pursue. If I could teleport myself to the position of a successful or influential journalist, then I would jump at the chance; however, working your way up in the field wouldn't be feasible for someone who isn't willing to dedicate their life to it.

    ~~~
    All together, we have a fiction writer, an author-professor, and a journalist so I suppose there isn't much variety here. I considered just picking an inventor or company founder, but I would imagine that life gets extremely boring for people such as Mark Zuckerberg after the fact.
    Chris Mears...I could have that rocking body, dive, and be a musician. LOL. Maybe I took it a little too literally. Then again, the challenge with being Chris Mears is I wouldn't want to leave the room for awhile. :grin:
    Probably either JK Rowling or Mock/Cooper. I want to write. Granted, I already do it and it's what I hope to major in but I want to keep it up and get better and better. Journalism and getting out there to find the story is something I'm dreamed of. I guess I'm not expecting to be a wealthy man but to be doing what I love and help people in a way.
    I'd say Thomas Edison. He's the one who patented so many things that we use today.
    I'm not going to list multiples because I would absolutely flood this thread with artists, and possibly plans for taking over countries so...
    Falvie. If I had her talent, wow. I don't even know what I would do. I'd probably die.
    Dag Hammerskjöld's, minus the premature death.
    He's one of my biggest heroes.
    Satan. Vlad Dracula. Of course, maybe it's easy for me to think I could do a better job, especially because I had a happier childhood.
    Most of my choices would be dead, so I can't usurp their jobs. Other than that, I don't think it would be too difficult to adjust to an actor's job, and you're spoiled for choice there. I was method acting before I even knew about Stanislavski.
    I'd love to take the career of Anderson Cooper or President Obama (or just about any politician for that matter).
    Tucker Max
    He's crazy, irresponsible and pulls more chicks than is reasonable... Then got paid millions to write stories about it. I'd empty my bank account to be Tucker Max for a day.
    I just think how fascinating and hard it must be to be stirring the Chinese taste for clothing with that of the rest of the world predominantly how you reconcile Chinese tastes with Western Designs which dominate the world stage. Also with the sudden surge in Chinese wealth and the New Money Class, she has to refine the tastes of the Chinese after all they suddenly just went for the more common names such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Channel, etc. to something more informed and not just buying clothes based on label.
