I think if I had shown that to my parents they'd say thats a load of bull. It's sad that even conclusive proof like this will still just be ignored by people like my parents.

You should all send it to your parents even if they do say its "bull". Eventually it will sink in.

I think it's a good idea to give something like this to parents who are having a hard time accepting their gay child.
It would ,at the very least, give them something to think about when they start being negative.
I always feel bad when reading about some parents attitudes. A little empathy goes a long way.

I thought that the line about forbidding a child to interact with gay peers was just as bad as physical abuse. People often think that physical abuse is worse than yelling and verbally reprimanding a child, but that isn't always the case.

Haha I'm in the minority I guess. My mother's fine with me being whatever I am but I still do drugs and such.

Thanks . I've been meaning to compile a list of similar research to send to my mom.

Quote:
"While the results might seem intuitive, Ryan said the study, funded by the California Endowment, was the first to establish a link between health problems in gay youths and their home environments."
That quote caught my attention...
