    Just turned midnight here - fireworks going off everywhere.

    Happy New Year everyone!

    (Yes - I am sitting at home typing this...all my friends are married with kids and don't go out to celebrate - boooring!).

    Happy New Year! I'm mostly blind at the moment (my good eye is patched up) so I can't see the fireworks, but I sure can hear them.

    You Australians! It's 1.30 PM in the UK! I remember being interviewed on the phone for Australian radio once, it was 7.30 in the evening and they kept saying "good morning early risers" -- it absolutely threw me!

    As I shan't be online before 2009, I shall say now: a very happy and prosperous new year for all on here :grin:

    And there were lots of fireworks going off around here too. Whether they were necessarily legal, I highly doubt it.

    Its getting close to new years where i live so i am going to wish everyone a happy new year and a great 2009. My life has had its ups and downs and downs and downs but now i am starting a new. I am determined to get my shit together and live a healthy, happy, fulfilling and wonderful life. It starts now and this time its for real. So enough of my self pity, negativity and all the rest of my bullshit. I am taking responsibility for my life and changing it. Jihaa...So....

    Fireworks just went off in London (capital of the United Kingdom) at the London Eye. Very impressive i must say (if you watched it, comment).
