Do Lesbians/Gays ever have very small, straight crushes?

Just curious, since because I do have small purely-romantic crushes on guys I don't identify fully as a lesbian.

I've had, I'd say like "medium size" romantic crushes on 2 guys in my entire life, but this is after I got to know them for a while. But it's more like I'd want them to be my best friend, and maybe kiss them then wanting to really date or have sex with them. I'm usually a lot more emotionally closed off when it comes to guys, but I didn't feel like that with these two. Feelings are complicated dude.

Totally had/have those crushes but like the above poster said, more like friendship than a sexual relationship.

I guess on Paul Walker when he was alive other then that no I can't say I do. Oh and Tad Hilgenbrink is another awesome actor I think I have a mini straight crush on.

Reading this, I realize that most of my guy crushes have been the same as yours, wanting them to be my best friend as opposed to having an actual relationship with them. xD hm...maybe time to re-examine my sexuality?

I've always called those kind of non sexual crushes, squishes.

Nope. I'm gayer than a rainbow I guess.

I've had a huge crush on one guy, and a couple small (probably a little forced) crushes on maybe two other guys. They were all romantic but not sexual, so I still consider myself gay, or "mostly gay." Unlike the crushes I've had on women there was no desire for physical proximity or things like that, it was more like, I'd like to have a home and family with him and do things together as though we were life-long companions (or like others said, best friends).

    It's what I call bromance.
Not a crush, just an appreciation for the person.

I think this is what I get! You nailed what I should have said.. Though I maybe wouldn't have used bromance :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

This. I consider myself biromantic homosexual. I am actually having this huge crush on my thesis adviser, who is geeky and gorgeous at the same time <3 But no sexual fantasy happening in my head. Does that count?

I think I might have had one on a girl when I was in Highschool, but nothing ever close to what I feel to men and to be honest I believe that was just me forcing myself to crush on the opposite sex.

Loving the heck out of Tom Wisdom currently. If I ever got him to my bedroom, it would be for a game of Backgammon, can't imagine ever sleeping with a guy again.

Yeah! There are also a couple of other terms used by the asexual community aside from crush and squish such as smush, lush, and swish.

    Yes.

Seeing as how things would grind to a halt when the touching started, though, I think it's safe to say there's no point in identifying as into men. I've literally done a complete turn-about between talking and 5 seconds after the kiss in the past, even though there was nothing wrong with the guy.

I'm just a cuddly, horny, affectionate person in general when you get past the hard outer shell. You'll thank me when quadra-gender aliens come and I woo them into not annihilating the planet.

Yes, maybe a couple girls, but the physical attraction was never strong enough to actually date or have sex with them.
