Five Facts About Your Appearance

Fun facts? Fun might be stretching it :lol:

1) I echo you on the logos. I try to avoid clothes with logos or names on them. I wear a lot of plaid and blues.

2) When my hair is short it's nice and straight, but it gets really puffy and curly as it gets longer. I really hate it :/

3) I'm actually pretty tall, 6' 3"/4" ish.

4) Apparently I have nice teeth, and smile a lot.

5) Often enough I make "terrible" mistakes like clashing patterns and colours :lol:

 

Ohh, this looks like fun!!

1. Why am I such a small child?

I'm actually ridiculously tiny. For example, I'm just at around 5'0" - so swimming in pools can be kind of tricky, since for most of any pool that's deeper than 4 feet, I'm kinda doggy-paddling to save my life. Finding shoes that fit is hard also! Since, I'm a European size 33. (In American measurements - that's around a size 2.) So... yep.

I also have to get most of my clothes in the kids section, so most of the time I'm wearing short overalls, with a t-shirt that has a picture of fruit on it or something. XD Uuuu - I guess I don't really mind having to dress up like a little kid that much though? It can be kind of fun.

2. Eyes. Nice.

My eyes can be kind of... strange. Most of them time, they're a very light blue, but they can also be this strange shade of dark blue/green. It's kind of pretty? But also... sort of confusing. >.<

Another thing, is that my pupils are kind of weird. As in, they're always super dilated. So, the iris - when visible, id just kind of a faint outline in comparison to my pupils which are pretty much covering my entire eye. It's really not much of a problem though? Except when there's light involved. But it's not too much of a big deal - I just hide my face in my hands until the blinding light is gone~

3. Flow, my hair.

Okay, so, this is probably not as interesting or anything like that - but when I had long(ish) hair, my hair was always very... limp. And disappointing. But now, that I've cut it so that it's above my shoulders, it's always very soft and fluffy - and I can never stop running my fingers through it? Ahha, at least I know that I won't ever be growing my hair out again~

4. Blushies~!

I blush way too much. Usually it's because of embarrassment or thankfulness? I'm not sure. But it's usually really easy to tell when I am blushing, since I'll just have my hands covering my cheeks, ahh~

5. Small stars on my face <3

Basically, it's very hard to see, even if you are right in front of me, but I do have a few freckles sprinkled across my cheeks. Very light in color - but ahh, they're nice, because I remember that I got them from a day at the beach. And (even though I didn't wear sunscreen that day and gosh it hurt), it was a really fun memory - and these are a cute little reminder of those fun times~

 

1. I have a small chip in my left front tooth that is rough enough to be used as a nail file.

2. My favorite hat to wear is a black trucker hat with the Decepticon logo on it.

3. I prefer to wear shirts depicting either old gaming logos like Atari and Nintendo, or bands like AC/DC, along with cargo pants or shorts ranging in color pallets from grey to camouflage.

4. I'm staring to grow out a goatee.

5. My favorite winter style is a black vinyl jacket with a single black glove on my right hand.

 

1. My hair is very thick, but even though taking care of it takes time, I'm still growing it out as long as possible.

2. When I wear extravagant eye makeup, it sometimes looks like I have large eyes. But in reality, I have monolids.

3. Despite my love for the night and my current wardrobe consisting of mostly black, I love looking at colourful over-the-top makeup and fashion, and incorporate some of that into my looks.

4. I never go out without heels. This is partially because I'm very small.

5. I need glasses, but I hate the way I look in them

 

1) Magic Hair
So whenever I cut my hair after it grows out longer, it grows really really really fast! Like, it grows really fast. Like a few days after I cut it, it's already growing. I guess that's because my hair is so short now and healthy...*Shrug*
2) My eyes are Earth-like
What I mean by this is that I have really Hazel eyes. My eyes are a mixture of turquoise, green, amber, brown, blue and yeah. One of my eyes has more turquoise though and it's really cool. Though, my eyes look light brown from afar.
3) Random freckles
So since I'm olive skinned, I have freckles in random places. I can get them on my ears, cheeks, neck, chest, legs, arms, etc. I even have some on my scalp.
4) My hands are really tiny
Okay so, I have like 5th grader hands. My hands are reaaaaallllyyy tiny! They're as big as a 10 year old's hands.
5) Smaller than guys, taller than girls
So, I have a weird height I guess. Most guys are taller than me, but I'm waaaayyy taller than girls. Even if they're like 20 or something, I'm taller than them by a few inches.

 

Oh, oh, my turn!
1.) I have brown shoulder length hair, as I'm not allowed to cut it any shorter.
2.) My eyes are brown with green in them, sometimes they look like their diamonds.
3.) I normally wear jeans, blue jeans. I don't like my too-long-of-legs showing.
4.) I'm pale, really pale.
5.) I try to smile as much as I can.

Yeah. I'm pretty epic. XP

 

1- Im Goth

I absolutely love everything about the goth subculture; the music, the fashion, the mindset. Finding beauty in the darker things is my passion. As such, I pretty much stick to black.

2- Increasingly Feminine, more androgynous at the moment

I cant completely start dressing feminine right away, so Im slowly advancing towards my girly goal.

3- I have curly, uncontrollable hair

My hair is always a mess and theres not much I can do about it. It does have a certain charm in its own little raggedy way

4- Kinda Overweight

I totally despise my weight and it is one of my biggest insecurities

5- Never Normal

Sometimes I feel dressing in all black just isnt good enough, so Ill push m individuality a little further. Doodling on myself, visibly wearing my necklace, arm warmers, etc. Anything to add a little flair.

 

Uuuuuuy, interesting idea for a thread. Specially for those of us too comfortable behind the veil of partial anonymity to post pictures of ourselves. OK.

1- From blond to brun.
I don't know what the hell happened here, but apparently my genes are as fickle and indecisive as myself. I was born blond and stayed that way for the first 7 or 8 years of my life, but from that point onward my hair has been getting progressively darker as time goes by, to the point that it's currently such a dark shade of brown it can easily be confused with black. I still get people I went to high-school with that I haven't seen since asking me if I dyed my hair, and I'm not sure they believe me when I say no lol.

2-Revenge of the Birthmark.
I have a pretty distinctive birthmark on the back of my left hand that was pretty useful to me as a kid. As embarrassing as it may sound looking back on it, I had a pretty hard time wrapping my brain around the concepts of "left" and "right," what with them changing with perspective and whatnot, and it wasn't until my tiny infant brain took notice that my birthmark was always on my left that I was finally able to grasp relative directions. Of course, when I finally figured it out, even that early in my life I thought to myself something along the lines of "you dumb little shit"

3-Attack of the Moles
I think I mentioned this before in another thread (some time ago...), I have exactly 50 moles spread across my body. You would be hard pressed to find even a handful of them at first glance tho. They are very small and pretty spread out. Most people don't take notice until they get a uuuuuh "closer look."

4- The Unbalanced Menace
I haven't really gone out of my way to measure this, but I'm preeeeetty sure my body is lopsided. Like, my right limbs are at least 2 or 3 cm longer than my left limbs. It doesn't really bother me, but I do get mildly annoyed when I think I could be 3 cm taller if my left side would sort it's shit out.

5-Return of the Graphics
I'm the complete polar opposite of Gen and HM03 in regards to apparel. What can I say, I'm a Graphic Designer sooooooooo it's stands to reason that I'm a sucker for kick-ass designs and just stuff that isn't very subtle or muted (at all). I must clarify tho, I like properly designed graphics and/or illustrations, not advertising in the form of a brand's over-sized logo passing as design. For the life of me I'll never understand the appeal of paying to be a walking billboard for, say, Aeropostale (seriously why would you buy this). All of that said, my wardrobe is pretty varied and I'm starting to warm up to more minimalist and/or simple styles of clothing.

As a sidenote, it was significantly harder than I thought to come up with five things worth pointing out here. Also:

Guilty as charged

 

1 ~ Though it hasnt shown up in any of my pictures yet, I'm currently in the process of growing an evil goatee.

2 ~ it isnt clearly visible but I have a scar below my left eye from a deep scratch given to me by a Small Panther. Tragically he's no longer with us in this world but I proudly wear his scar as proof that he once lived..

3 ~ my eyes, although bleak and colorless in my profile pic due to the low quality picture, are actually a vivid chocolate shade of brown. This color isnt very interesting for me so ill probably get some flashy contacts someday

4 ~ unlike in any of my profile images I usually complete my outfit with a hat, usually a beanie or beret, occasionally a cap, front or backwards depends on how my hair looks. I have all kinds of random hats and enjoy adding to my collection

5 ~ my favorite part of my body is.. hm, I can't talk about that here~ so, I'll go with my... legs, I picked something at random all of me is pretty awesome, though

 

1) I'm going silver.

I found my first gray hair at 15, so it's not really a suprise that I've got quite a lot of white and silver hairs by now. My mom was completely gray by 35.

2) Freckles

I've got lots of freckles! But none on my face, they're all on my arms.

3) I'm short

I'm 157cm or 5'1-2".

4) The Secret Mole

I have a pretty large mole on the top of my scalp. I always have to warn hair stylists about it.

5) Stripes

I think at least half of my wardrobe is stripes. The other half is v-necks and jeans.

 

Not so much fun facts, but ok......

1. It is rare that I am not wearing either a shirt or pair of pants not bought at a garage sale, but I get nice stuff.
2. I have a wandering eye. I was born cross-eyed, and the over-corrected my left eye.
3. I too grew up blonde and then got darker and darker hair.
4. I am fat. I have gained over 40 pounds in the past year due to coming out and taking celexa.
5. I am athletic still somewhere deep in me. Despite having gained the weight I did in the past year, I grew up quite athletic. I could never do well in sprints, but I was the guy who passed people after the first mile when we did the 1 1/2 mile runs for gymn class. I played baseball from age 6 to the end of high school. I pitched when it was 35 degrees and snowing(early April) as well as when there was a 110 heat index in a summer rec. league.

3. I enjoy tucking my shirt into belted pants
4. I have discoloured front teeth due to illness as a child
5. I am short at 162 cm but taller than most of my family

 

1 - Little digit mix-up

My little fingers are so short. So short. They only reach a little under half-way to my fourth finger's middle knuckle. I have such weirdly proportioned hands! On the flipside, I have proportionally long little toes. I think there was a confusion when I was built! (In my artwork, it's obvious when I referenced my own hands because of this.)

2 - The Floof

My hair is, in its natural state, a pretty uncontrollable mass of curls. There is more or less nothing sensible that can be done with it that doesn't involve an hour of styling. Because I have never put an hour of styling into my appearance in my life, I opt for keeping it short. (Unfortunately, I'm clearly Harry Potter - it grows out SO FAST. Not good with my haircut of choice that is pictured in my avatar.)

Also, my hair (in its natural state) goes down very well in Japan, so it transpires. I once had the joy of being in an elevator with several mildly tipsy middle-aged Japanese ladies, all fussing over my hair. From my limited Japanese, I know they thought my hair was cute. So that's nice!

3 - The face of a small child

I get ID'd for everything. Everything. It's not as bad if I wear feminine clothes, but most of the time there's a moderate chance of people reading me as a young teenage boy and acting accordingly when I try to buy movies. It doesn't help that I'm a towering five foot nothing.

My avatar is one of the rare pictures where I feel like I look at least near to my actual age!

4 - No dress sense whatsoever

I am not a stylish person, and have no idea how to successfully coordinate an outfit. I tend to just throw on videogame tees and a pair of jeans and take it from there. It makes going out on special occasions very awkward because I very few smart non-feminine clothes, and when it comes to the feminine clothes I generally have to ask my girlfriend for her opinion - she is the coordinated one!

Also, no skirts. No. I can't do skirts. Maybe with leggings. But no. I always feel so exposed!

I have a scar running across my left arm from when I used to carry my kitten on my shoulder and he fell off and tried to grab me on the way down. It was kind of my own fault - he was getting waaaay too big to be carried around like that.

(Yes, he was called Skitty. I take no responsibility for child me's choice of pet names. Except I do, because I'm still as much of a Pokémon dork now and would do it again, haha.

...Also, he had a twin brother, and he was called Ditto.)

 

1. Brown almond eyes
Apparently, people who knew me as a child are able to recognise me solely by the shape and colour of my eyes. I don't know why, they're just brown and almond-shaped, but I guess that's rare where I come from?

2. My sunpatch/birthmark
My mother calls is a sunspot or sunpatch, regular people call it a discolouration or a birthmark, but I have this mark by my mouth that only appears when I get enough sun on it in the summer.

3. Beer gut
I haven't drunk a lot of beer, but it looks like I have a beer gut. Or a muffin top.

4. Thick hair
So thick! People often comment on how thick it is.

5. Long nails
My nails will not stop growing. I cut them and I cut them and I cut them, but they grow out again faster than the speed of light.

Sadly, those were the most interesting facts about my looks I could think of.
Oh, that, and my glasses. They look carved in a floral pattern, which I find very pretty :3

 

1. Olive Skin
Even though my family (and ancestors) had the normal west European white skin, I have naturally tan/olive skin, which leads many people to think I'm French. I've been told this is a result of my grandfather's paternal line all being farmers, and because I actually do have a lot of French/Anglo-French ancestors.
2. Broad Feet
It's something I get from my mum and makes it hell to buy shoes. My feet are broad but without the normally accompanying length, so my shoes fit breadth-wise but are a little too long. As people point out, I have 'hobbit feet'.
3. Thick Hair
What a nightmare! The hair at the sides of my nape grow towards each other instead of down, which apparently is called a 'duck's ass' pattern (not to be confused with the hairstyle of the same name), and gives me wings sprouting out of my neck:

4. Hairy from birth
I've got thick head hair, eyebrows and leg hair, with some arm hair, but none on my chest or back. My parents like to say that I'm either a monkey or half Spanish (apparently they're hairy).
5. The big picture
I've been told that my dark brown hair, rich brown eyes and olive skin tone look good as a whole. I guess I'm at least partly attractive - woo?

 

1. I have an almost perfectly oval birthmark on my inner thigh.

2. My eyes are a dull blue color.

3. My nose is so weird. It's oddly heart shaped almost? It has a little indent on the end of it. I look like a freaking care bear. (But girls tend to think it's really cute, so I'm okay with it.)

4. When my mom was pregnant with me, a bat flew into her and hit her in the forehead. I was born with a bat shaped mark on my forehead. It's faded since I was born, but it shows up when I'm really sick. I know this sounds totally fake, but google it. This kind of thing happens a lot more than you might think.

5. I have extremely greasy hair. I've tried everything to keep my hair from being greasy. I know most of it is probably just because I'm a teenager. Luckily, I really dig The Outsiders and Grease, so I've learned to embrace my hair.

 

1. I have a lot of hair. Hairdressers always comment on my hair and I rarely get good haircuts. My best haircut was in Ecuador.

2. I have one red dot on each hand. I guess they're just tiny birthmarks.

3. My left eye is twice as bad as my right eye. That means my glasses make my left eye look bigger. I also have a hard time at the eye doctor.

4. I have two small dimples between my lips and chin.

5. I have hair on my toes.

 

Here's mine but sorry that's its not fun at all

1. Dark Colors or White
Shirts in my wardrobe are pretty plain there are only Blacks, Dark Grey, Navy Blue, Military Green, Brown and White. There are one or two piece outside the aforementioned color and both are red. Besides color, all of my shirts are pretty calm/less graphic, The reason's are pretty simple because it blends with my skin color which is pretty dark skinned for an Indonesian.

2. Form Fitting
I'm pretty fit for my size, and I always try to wear shirts that's fits my upper body. When i buy new clothes i only pick that fit my body (either athletic fit or slim fit in some cases). But if they have something eye catching for me but only available in regular fit i'll still buy them and have them altered by a tailor to fit my body immediately :lol:

3. Normal Glasses
Glasses are one of my regular accessory (besides military edition watch, leather wristband and chain necklace with padlock). I have pretty good although not the sharpest eyesight. But i still use normal glasses during work. There are several reason behind this : it makes me look more professional in front of a patient, it hide my stupid expression if i'm clueless, and it protects from possible infection from splashes of body fluid that might happened during physical exams, surgeries, etc...

4. Buzz Cuts or Undercuts
Since my hair are tend to be messy and wavy when it gets longer, those 2 are my absolute choice for haircut. I used to change hairstyle every 3 weeks but lately i've settled between those 2.

5. Different shirt, T shirt, pants and footwear throughout the day
Inside my car i have some fresh Polo shirt, shorts and shoes (sneakers and sandals). I always switch footwear along the day. I start with Converse or sneakers, pants and buttoned shirt for work. After work i switch to polo shirt, pants/shorts and casual shoes for hang out. Otherwise, like if i immediately go home i'll wear t-shirt or muscle shirt, shorts and sandals

 

1) on the right side of my face I have 3 beauty marks that make the shape of a triangle

2) I have a little bit of acne but it never seems to come up in pictures

3 I might be done growing as I've been 5'8 for nearly 2 years now.

4) I'm not very hairy but for some reason my legs are very hairy.

5) I have scoliosis.
