Not looking for any very steamy romance ones xD, just ones that maybe deal with the process of coming out and crushes.

The only one I've read is 'Lies We Tell Ourselves' by Robin Tally and it is ammaazziing! :3 It deals with sexuality and other issues such as integration, and it is definitely a must-read.

I know a woman who wrote a YA novel called "She's My Ride Home" about a lesbian couple. I keep meaning to read it myself, but she's an awesome person and I remember it got pretty good reviews on amazon.

"Openly Straight" deals with a boy going into a new boarding school. He decides as an experiment to not come out to anyone, being fed up with only being seen as "The Gay Kid". Amazing read, I read it in one sitting till 3 in the morning.

I think I recommended this before, but. Him, by Sarina Bowen is one of my all time favorite LGBT books. Just read the blurb from goodreads  :

Annie On My Mind by Nancy Garden and Everything Leads to You by Nina LaCour are two that come to mind.

Also The Miseducation of Cameron Post is one that I haven't read yet, but you may want to check it out and see what you think. It's on my to-read list.

Well, I've never read a book just about LGBT characters, but I did read a book over the summer with a character who deals with coming out, crushes, etc. though it is not the main plot of the book. "I'll Give You the Sun" is what it's called. (I can't remember the author though DX)

Em recommended it in another post so I checked it out. Absolutely LOVED it. The Author's other book Out of the Pocket deals with a quarterback coming out which was fantastic. I just read Simon Vs the Homo Sapiens which was perhaps my favorite of the bunch. Loads of references to anime and gaming if you've got a geeky side about a teen who is forced out.
