My great grandma was born in the 1800's, she was 105 when she died, I was nine, she made it through 3 centuries, I can't imagine that... She made every one of her grand and great grand children afghans, she made one for both of my younger siblings too, she kept going till the very end, she didn't even move into a nursing home until the year before she died because the daughter she was living with died and she had too. I didn't know her very well but from what I remember she was very cool and fun.
María is by far the most common female name in Spanish and Portuguese. De Jesús isn't too weird of a last name either, lol. I'm not surprised by her name However, 115 years old... I don't know if I want to ever be that old :S
