    Hello all,

I hear CA is a really LGBT friendly place, but wanted to hear from those living there. I'm talking about health care & doctors specifically. Also, how do they treat trans people? Is trans healthcare better than most other states?

  2. Well, I think that it varies by each doctor and their own attitudes towards gender identity. Obviously, we have no state health care system like Canada's provincial health care, so each doctor is different. I think the most credible way to know is to research each doctor in each major city since the cities obviously have more resources.

Are you planning to move there?

I think anthonythegamer is right that it really depends on where you are and who the doctor is. California's a fairly large state, so there are areas that are not so LGBT friendly (I live in one).
