I know I said before that I didn't want a Republican to win because then that would give too much power to one party, but now that I think about it if there's not this "MY GAWD I HATE HIS/HER PARTY SO I'M GONNA BE AGAINST WHATEVER HE/SHE SAYS" then stuff will actually get done

At least you know what to expect from Trump.

With Hilary you don't know much about her really. She's very 'safe' she doesn't say too little or too much. You don't know what she actually wants at all, you just know the basic generic political fluff.

Trump straight up tells you what he's all about.

How often will you'r presidential candidate openly talk about the politicians he's bought and sold?

I also admire the fact that Trump is honest and tells us his plans.

That doesn't necessarily mean I agree with his plans, but hey what are you gunna do? I don't get into politics that much.

It is a weirdly refreshing change of pace.

I hate his ideas, but at least I know what they are.

Every other politician will promise you anything to get votes, and when pay up time comes they pull out a pocket full of excuses.

Trump is just like "I'm rich, I buy politicans, I want to build a wall around the border, and this is what you're voting for"

No tricks, no lies. You know he's gonna do ( or try ) exactly what he says he will.

I don't. Last thing the country needs is some stupid billionaire who thinks with his pocketbook and could give a damn less about anyone not in the 1% running the show. He needs to just drop out of the race; he's bloody useless and would make an absolutely terrible president.

    Of course he would

He'd be the worst president ever.

Still, I know what to expect.

An important part of the equation you seem to be forgetting is whether the stuff that gets done is stuff you actually want to happen. I'm not in favor of horrible "stuff getting done", personally.

But look...part of me says, meh, 4 years of Trump would be good entertainment. He's not as vile as most Republicans, and he enjoys putting his foot in his mouth in ways that garner him attention.

On the other (very important hand), he is already dangerously narcissistic. Think about what kind of validation and self-power he would feel upon being voted to the Presidency. Handing that much power to a narcissist is just an incredibly dangerous and stupid thing to do.

I didn't even think about the narcissistic aspect.

    Would still be entertaining though.

I'd vote for anyone but Trump if I was an USA citizen. Even Pepe.

Everyone says, "well, it's horrible but it would be funny lol."
I think Donald Trump is so delusional that most people forget that he is running for president. President. Leader of our nation. So when you say, oh, he would be hilarious, keep in mind that this is who is representing America and shaping our laws and policies, not reality TV. It isn't a joke.

    Trump can definitely win.

Enough of the American people are malicious enough. It can certainly happen.

We don't have a good choice anyways.

Every option that stands a realistic shot at winning is TERRIBLE TERRIBLE might as well get a laugh outta whoever flushes us down the drain

You know that it's very offensive wanting Trump to win even if you don't agree with him, right?
I mean, for God's sake, I'm a Latina and hearing things like that just boils my blood.

Is this a troll thread? -__- The only logical choice for a good president, at least the lesser evil would be Bernie Sanders.

He won't win. Hilary will beat him without a doubt.

I don't count him because I know he doesn't stand a chance, and the "Black Lives Matter" campaign is tanking any hopes he had of even challenging her.

Thank God I don't live in the USA. At least in my country I don't have to hear people wishing a guy that thinks I'm a cucaracha would win the presidency. You don't have any empathy.

Agreed, he's a racist, sexist and many other "ists" I'm sure. He's a pig undeserving of anyone's attention and yet he is succeeding in gaining it, evident by even this thread's existence.
