Ok so my friend and I are working on a history project, and we want to do it on some LGBT riot or something. Here are the rules: -Theme: exploration, exchange, and/or encounters -can't be in America (we wanted to do the stonewall riots...) -has to be at least 30 years back -we want to do a performance so if you have an idea for that as well, go at it The performance has to be about 8 minutes long, in depth about the topic, but also engaging and interesting. Thanks!
Have a look at Toronto in the 1970s and 80s. Toronto may be a gay Mecca today, but 30-40 years ago it was pretty bad.
It has to be pretty specific to the time and place. Like, we could do "women's rights in Siberia in 1947" or something like that. But it can also be a specific event.
