    I don't think I have ever been anywhere online that was so utterly lacking in troll behavior. I'm still new but there is a lot of activity and most of it is respectful and even compassionate. The admins must really be on top of it.

    Yes, I have noticed it's very orderly and well-maintained. Kudos to the admins and moderators, they really do keep it nice.

    It's amazingly troll free, actually. The admins and mods are really at the top of their game. First time I've seen something-large or small-not have a troll.

    Trolls sneak in now and then, but they're pretty swiftly dealt with. While our staff works really hard to keep that under control, it's also the culture of the community that really helps. We encourage everyone to report any inappropriate posts or behavior, and we act pretty quickly to take care of it.

    I do think this is one of the things that sets EC apart from most other online communities.

    I thought when I joined, the terms mentioned something about a troll elimination system on this forum. I seem to recall it mentioned something about eliminating trolls from the site by "neutralizing" them permanently on detection.

    Well, in my case, I used to be a troll, but became a much better person once I found this place. I'm just glad that this site is so relatively obscure that it doesn't even register a blip on the radars of sites like Encyclopedia Dramatica. If it did, I'd be in deep shit right now, as well as everyone else here, as I have a bit of a history with that cesspit of a site. But let's not dwell on the past, and instead look into the future. We should fight for peace and prosperity and not squabble amongst each other in an attempt to hurt each other with petty text. :icon_bigg

    Alright, sorry. But that's why I like EC. I think it's one of the few communities where I've actually felt like I was part of a community. And I think that's why EC's so important. We've got just the right blend of people and moderation to foster relatively civil discussion while keeping things safe for everyone.

    I totally agree, EC is a safe and sane environment for everyone. We can all be ourselves on here without ever being judged, it's truly the best support forum on the net! The mods and everyone involved are simply amazing!
