I thought I'd miss the whole thing, but I got to see half of totality. The clouds that had been lingering all day finally cleared. It was amazing.
It was beautiful and extremely difficult to photograph well due to how dark the moon's disk was. I got a few shots with the nice orange/red color but the moon wasn't as crisp as I'd have liked. Oh well. I gave up after a few minutes and just decided to enjoy the event.
Just took it in for a few minutes. It's quite amazing. Might just go out again and try to take a few more pictures - in the hopes that one will turn out okay.
It was sadly too cloudy here in Ohio to see the eclipse. I will have to look at photos from other people.
It's hit or miss for my area tonight. There were clouds that kept going by, but I was able to see it almost fully eclipsed.
