is there such thing as a guys night out?

one of my closest friends, that i hada crush on forever, told me i needed a "guys night out." hes one of the few ppl that know bout me. i told him one night when i was u.t.i.

but anyway idk what were donig. he told me i was, too depressed and stressed to stay at home and that i needed to get out. i guess this is good i think hes gonna try and hook me up with someone lol.

I've heard of that phrase before. Most of my guy friends say it. Especially the ones with girlfriends. For example, "man I need a guys night out. My girlfriend is having a sleepover with her friends".

ok well if i were to have a guys night out it would mean going to the pub with mates and drinking beer and talking guy things like sports etc lol,just a general night out where we go out and drink and joke around and have a good time lol...thats what it implies to me anyway...

it could also mean that a guy and his friends go out to the local bar, pub, or tavern and get wasted.

In my group of friends it's rare for the guys to hang out with the girls. Generally it's because the girls usually plan everything.

But I don't think Guys Night Out is that rare. I think lots of guys do it.

A few months a go my friends lex thought it would be a cool idea to have a guys movie night.
So me lex and 2 other guys watched all the indiana jones movies from 1-3.
And lex had the bright idea of us only wearing our boxers, now mind you these guys are straight and don't know about me,so lets say..... i had a good time!!!!
So yes guys can have a night out.

my bf has guy's night outs with his friends back home all the time. they usually go to a music store nearby and by guitar strings or music, then head back to one of their houses and jam on their guitars all night. and play xbox live. and play zombie tag early mornings and late nights. he's an odd one. when i think of jocks and their nights out...its usually go out and have a few drinks at a bar and watch the game. it all depends on the guy and what they enjoy doing. so unless ur friend is prone to hooking you up with people, its not gonna be that.

so everything every1 said they thought did not even come close to what happened. it was horriable and if anything made me even more upset. now i know why i dont leave the house.
see we went to the mall. and i had the bright idea to go into hollister to look for a shirt for my bf. first they didnt have the shirt, second he smells exactly like the store, third the point of going out was to not think about him.
oh well, i just wont do it again lol
