What's the biggest problem that society has?

Being too quick too judge, prejudicec, bias and c,ose mi ded. And brainwashing each other too

 

large income inequality.

 

Greed

 

Desensitisation to other people's misery or crises.

 

Not being accepting and understanding and sympathetic to minorities. Lack of empathy in general.

 

Counterproductive pride. And I say that as someone with a lot of pride. I must admit I do some stupid things because of my ego.

 

Not giving me the world already.

 

I personally think it all boils down to the general lack of logic, reason and rationality and that people aren't being critical of what they are subjected to. If people are aware then it is harder for evil people to gain their compliance and use them for bad means.

 

Stupidity. Plain and simple stupidity. Its a freaking epidemic.

 

I would answer the question differently depending on which level I look at it. On a very broad level I would say disharmony is our greatest problem. We seperate, seperate, seperate each other from each other so that we may seem cool. It's always "I, me". We are become ego-centric and find it hard to connect to one another in a harmonic way.

On a more practical, day-to-day level, I would say capitalism is the biggest problem we have. Gross exploitation of the masses, brainwashed by state authority, for the benefit of an elite economic majority. Like Buckminster Fuller said... "'You never change things by fighting the existing reality.To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete".

 

Hypocrisy, too many Heterosexuals, Religious people, people who want to ban guns, people who are against abortion.

 

"There's a shortage of both logic and kindness."

 

Humans... society is the problem

 

Greed, organized religion, guns

 

People not minding their own business.

 

Lack of empathy. If people in this world were to all follow the golden rule, this world would be perfect.

 

Ignorance.

As someone who is a minority within a minority within a minority *three paragraphs later* within a minority...I cannot stress how much truth this post holds.

I can't find peace anywhere without any of the above causing me trouble and stress.

 

People not understanding the world, other cultures and all that.
