It would be weird, but I guess if they were super awesome. Now the name of a close family member, that I would never do. I actually have a friend that all but one of the guys she dated had the same names has her brothers.

Yeah, of course I would. It probably would be awkward sometimes, and VERY confusing, but if I liked the guy then that really wouldn't matter.

However, if I *did* date someone with my own name, then if we got a Civil Partnership, I wouldn't want either of us to change our surname to be the same as the other....
