I don't think I've ever skipped class o: I have however made up excuses in order not to go to school that day in general ._.

I just finished school for good, but I rarely skipped classes when I was in school. Students who regularly attend class tend to do much better in school than those who skip classes. Also, if your tuition is tens of thousands of dollars, you owe it to yourself to go to those expensive classes.

I accidentally skipped two classes today. I asked my friend if I could nap in her car for 40 minutes and I didn't wake up to the alarm I set myself.

Normally, I only skip when I have major assessment due. My school has an accepted culture of letting students skip because the workload becomes too much for someone with a full class schedule and extracurricular activities. At least once a term, a few classmates and I take an empty classroom together and skip the entire day's classes to help each other edit essays or practice oral presentations. The best students tend to skip a fair amount, but it's almost always productive.

I skipped sports afternoon a few times by hiding in rarely-used classrooms with my group of friends, but that was it.

Hmmm I skip PE on a regular basis. Other than that, not really. Unless I don't really want to go to a class for some reason, then I'll just make up an excuse or pretend sick or whatever, but that's not usual.

I imagined the same thing as Charon... ^^

When I graduated from high school, I'd never skipped a class.

This morning I didn't hear either of my two alarms and slept through German class and felt so guilty I went to apologize to the teacher right afterward. ^^

I've skipped a few times, its pretty hard to though because all of the schools classrooms are very open and full and there is almost no place to hide. The best strategy is to sit in the open, look like you are doing work and no teachers will question you.

I thought you meant skipping rope or something

Nope I've never actually skipped class...I mean, not intentionally bailing out. I've missed classes because I wasn't feeling well, even if I was feeling well enough to go to class I stayed home because I was "pretty sick." Other than that nope. I go to all of them. Sometimes there's really not a lot going on in class and there are periods we don't do anything, but I just utilize those to do my own thing.

It is rare for me to complete a whole week without skipping any class  Most of the time I would skip class because I feel lazy that day and I really just want to sleep all day. Sometimes I would skip class because I have no one to hang out with while waiting for the next class. I would also skip class when I need to shit (literally), I cant shit on public toilets.

When I was at community college, I skipped my boring classes the max number of times we were allowed to miss, which was usually four. My first semester at my current university, again, I skipped the max number of times, except for organic chem/lab and oceanography. Now, I skip probably once or twice depending on the class.

I never skipped in high school, the consequences were higher there.

I never skipped in high school. I don't remember if I ever did in college; I don't think so, though.

I slept through half of my biology exam. I accidentally skipped the last assembly, because I was feeling euphoric and forgot about "unimportant things."

However, just because I was there, doesn't mean I was paying attention. I played video games all night and caught up on my sleep at school/college. I preferred to study on my own and focus on tests/exams.

In elementary school, a few times. In middle school, quite often. In high school, about the same.

I learned very early that the laws regarding school are ridiculous. For one, if you're under 18, you cannot be held responsible for skipping -- your teachers and parents are. I actually contributed to a teacher getting fired like this, because I refused to go to their class and, well, the school didn't want a teacher that couldn't connect with their students.

Again, I was a pretty terrible person. There are reasons people do not like me, because I went above and beyond to do what I wanted.

Nowadays, not so much. Mostly because there isn't much gain to it. I make use of the time, when it is provided. Then again, I don't begin school again until January, and won't know if an exception to this exists.
