What do you think about online dating, especially for a teenage girl? I would really like a girlfriend but it would be impossible to get one because there are barely any out lesbian or bi girls at my school or outside that I know of, plus, I'm really really shy and stuff. I'm considering going online and doing online dating. Of course, I will be really really careful and stuff- I'm very wary of the Internet, probably way more wary than most girls my age!
I've had people tell me (I'm 18) to wait until I am older - at least 21 - until I should even consider online dating. You're 14: you won't be allowed on normal dating sites, and that's a good thing. Tough it out at school, then go out into the world and mix with people. Only after doing that should you consider online dating an option.
