So I recently found an old journal of mine with some questions of interest jotted down. I thought I'd list a few here. If anyone feels up to it, feel free to give some interesting answers:

Answer all of them, one or two of them, any really, if you wish. Be as silly or serious as you choose.

    • In 10 years you are really happy, with a great life. Describe it.
    • What is something you're afraid of? Why?
    • Your future self (say, 10-15 years forward) travels back in time to visit you. You have a chance to ask them 3 questions. What three?
    • What is your idea of happiness? How about of misery?
    • What is the best advice you can give someone your age?
    • I really admire people who ________
    • What is the most difficult thing to do or achieve? and/or What is something that is worth any amount of struggle to achieve?
    • If you found out your life (your own unique one, not life in general) was a novel and you met the author of it, what would you say to them?
    • Define good, in your own terms:
    • Tell 5 truths and 5 lies. Don't say which is which.

In 10 years you are really happy, with a great life. Describe it.
I'll be helping to protect others and help them get their lives back on track if they have been slipping off. I will also be motivational to others. I will also have either a wife or husband and a child, (adopted or biological depending on my partner).

What is something you're afraid of? Why?
Honestly, the biggest thing that I'm afraid of is getting to the end of my life and regretting it and finding it shit.

Your future self (say, 10-15 years forward) travels back in time to visit you. You have a chance to ask them 3 questions. What three?
What is my future looking like i.e, what am I doing as a career?
Is there any mistakes I need to watch out for and change?
Did I miss any opportunities and should I take them?

What is your idea of happiness? How about of misery?
My personal idea of happiness is to be able to have fun. Another idea of happiness is to make other people happy.
My idea of misery is when I care about someone ad then they could not care less about me.

What is the best advice you can give someone your age?
Love yourself and take care of yourself, even if that means being called selfish and/or stuck up.

I really admire people who are not afraid to be honest, but are still loving.

What is the most difficult thing to do or achieve? and/or What is something that is worth any amount of struggle to achieve?
My most difficult thing is finding my true self, and I also believe this is worth everything as well.

If you found out your life (your own unique one, not life in general) was a novel and you met the author of it, what would you say to them?
The sequel best be a bit more interesting!

Define good, in your own terms:
'Good' is doing what is truly right, even if it is classified as 'wrong' by others.

Tell 5 truths and 5 lies. Don't say which is which.
    - I am/have been top of the leader board in several games.
    - I am not afraid of anything (there's obviously one or two things.)
    - I have played various sports at professional level
    - I will give anything a try at least once
    - I am the holder of 2 world records
    - I performed a speech for a training provider in front of many massive companies in England and got a standing ovation
    - I have cosplayed in the past
    - I eat at least 3 carrots every day
    - I was 'branded' one of the best hockey players at my school
    - I am very tolerant when it comes to people

That is a good chunk of time which I could've been doing college work in, but procrastination yay. ^.~

I'll have figured out my sexuality and be in a happy relationship, not living with my parents. I'll have a career that I worked hard for and really love and a dog of my own.

That's pretty cool... now I have an excuse to kill several minutes!

In 10 years you are really happy, with a great life.
    Describe it.

I get out of jail! YAY! I think I'll be doing most things I'm doing now, only better.

What is something you're afraid of? Why?
Losing my ability to feel fear. Failing something important. Being the last person in the world.

Your future self (say, 10-15 years forward) travels back in time to visit you. You have a chance to ask them 3 questions. What three?
I'd want to try hacking the universe and/or ask my future self if they have any serious regrets.

What is your idea of happiness? How about of misery?

Happiness is things such as oxytocin, endorphins, and adrenaline.

Misery is some combination of disappointment and boredom. I'm not quite sure how to explain it, so I will use an example. I wanted to make an example out of someone. Unfortunately, his girlfriend apologized on his behalf and gave me more money than he tried to steal.

What is the best advice you can give someone your age?
"It's not possible to save everything. Prioritize your goals." - Minene Uryuu

I really admire people who ________
...are clever, sometimes even if I don't agree with their actions. I don't think I can really communicate with the dead nor find God, but sometimes it's difficult not to admire well-executed techniques.

What is the most difficult thing to do or achieve?
and/or What is something that is worth any amount of struggle to achieve?

Controlling my visceral side. I'm much better at managing my impulsive nature than I was in my teens.

If you found out your life (your own unique one, not life in general) was a novel and you met the author of it, what would you say to them?
Unless we can reach a mutually beneficial agreement, I'd sue the pants off the author! If there's some sort of grand creator of the universe, then I'd want to ask "Why did you give me emotional empathy?" Maybe they'd say it was for the lulz.

Define good, in your own terms:
The question doesn't mention evil, but I think "good" and "evil" are silly concepts, morally speaking. I've been told that I love giving dilemmas to people! To put it simply, I think good is things such as knowledge, pleasure, efficiency, and some degree of order.

Tell 5 truths and 5 lies. Don't say which is which.

    1. Satan speaks to me through our neighbour's dog and tells me to murder people that wear croc shoes.
    2. I was obsessed with the KGB when I was a child.
    3. I've never broken my bones.
    4. I've glued my hands together.
    5. One of my acquaintances is a lawyer.
    6. Bear Grylls is one of my role models.
    7. I was escorted out of a post office.
    8. I tried to summon Satan.
    9. It had to be explained to me that it's "weird" to read certain books in public.
    10. I have a computer driving license.

In 10 years you are really happy, with a great life. Describe it.

Hard to say. If you're asking me to describe how I'd be happy in 10 years, I would of course say that I would be living in Vancouver, owning my own art space with my own art inside of it. I would work part time as a digital advertiser and hopefully on my way to making my first cartoon movie.

What is something you're afraid of? Why?

Being alone. I don't mean left alone for a few hours, I mean moving out and ending up completely alone for the rest of my life. No friends, no family.. nothing. I fear this because I feel that people only see me as a disorder, as some disaster that should be avoided but really, inside, all I really want is friends, company and to be able to laugh and have a good time. As I grow older, I feel that I've lost more and more people, either through death or by them leaving my side and no matter how hard I try, my fear is becoming more of a reality. Now, I fear it more than anything.

Your future self (say, 10-15 years forward) travels back in time to visit you. You have a chance to ask them 3 questions. What three?

    1. Am I dating anyone? 2. What does my family think of me? 3.What am I doing with my life?

What is your idea of happiness? How about of misery?

My idea of happiness? Having people who are really close to me. People who care about me, as I would care about them. People who actually invite me out to have a good time. I'm not sure what you mean whey you ask, "What is your idea of misery?".. I don't think anyone has an idea of misery. Correct me if I'm wrong.. but no one wants to really dream or think about being miserable.

What is the best advice you can give someone your age?

No one prepares anyone for how hard life really is. There are days where emotionally, you can get hit pretty hard. There is a point to it all and the point isn't who can endure the most with feeling the least. It's about how much you enjoy your life. If you're not truly enjoying it.. and I mean TRULY enjoying it, you should make changes. Don't work for money. Money comes from trees and trees give us oxygen, so they'll always be around. Money will always be around. From the wise words of Philip DeFranco, "There's no success garunteed, it might be garbage but you're trying. I'm trying.".

I really admire people who ________

Are ambitious and motivated to reach their dreams and life goals.

What is the most difficult thing to do or achieve? and/or What is something that is worth any amount of struggle to achieve?

Happiness, to be quite honest. Most people have it, so it's not a struggle for all, but once you lose it, it's hard to get back. If you lose it for too long, it's even harder than that.. but it's worth sticking around and struggling for.

If you found out your life (your own unique one, not life in general) was a novel and you met the author of it, what would you say to them?
I have to ask.. why did you write a book about me?

Define good, in your own terms:
Things that make a person happy. Things that personally bring them joy and happiness.. in other words, good is different for each person.

Tell 5 truths and 5 lies. Don't say which is which.

    1. I've seen a UFO once
    2. I speak fluently in Elvish
    3. I've never been to Taco Bell
    4. I chipped my tooth after falling off of a skate board when I was 7 and everyone started calling me White Fang
    5. When I was 3, my sister pushed me over in her little tykes car on the door side and I started crying because I thought I was trapped
    6. When I was 9th grade, I poured two bottles of dish soap in one of the school hallways for everyone to slide on but got suspended when an 8th grader got a bloody nose from running into a locker
    7. I don't have my drivers licence
    8. I'm related to Harley Morenstein
    9. I ate spare ribs last night
    10. I hate Friday by Rebecca Black

    • In 10 years you are really happy, with a great life. Describe it.

    • I have the love of my life by my side, on the couch watching TV, content in knowing that everything is paid for, nothing is past due, and nothing will be in the near future. I have a great job doing what I love and that allows me to pursue my hobbies such as building PCs and potentially some crafting. Then I get to go to bed in a nice cozy sleep number, with my lover spooning me or vice versa (Or more if I'm in the mood  )
    • What is something you're afraid of? Why?
Loneliness, I've always been an odd person, and there are times where I just want to sit in a dark room and skulk around the internet by myself. But more and more I've come to long for someone who can just sit with me, talk to me, and generally just keep me company. Nothing is scarier to me than having no one to talk to.
    • Your future self (say, 10-15 years forward) travels back in time to visit you. You have a chance to ask them 3 questions. What three?
    1. Does it ever get easier?
    2. Will things get better between my family and loved ones?
    3. Will I ever be with 'the one'?
    • What is your idea of happiness? How about of misery?
Happiness: Being stable and content and being able to share that with someone I care for.
Misery: Stuck going nowhere, and alone (Seems to be the running theme of this post)

    • What is the best advice you can give someone your age?
Watch what you say, don't let your poor word choices mess things up.

    • I really admire people who are happier than me, and are more easily able to socialize
    • What is the most difficult thing to do or achieve? and/or What is something that is worth any amount of struggle to achieve?
    Achieving stability, and eventually peace.
    • If you found out your life (your own unique one, not life in general) was a novel and you met the author of it, what would you say to them?
Can I borrow your pen/keyboard for a bit?
    • Define good, in your own terms:
Someone who isn't out to hurt anyone, and genuinely has good intentions and wants to do right by others.

    • Tell 5 truths and 5 lies. Don't say which is which.

    1. I'm 6'2"
    2. I was able to read before I attended any schooling
    3. Red is my favorite color
    4. My favorite dish is Caesar Salad
    5. Despite being on computers all the time, I have to look when I type
    6. I'm easy to please
    7. I'm easy to annoy
    8. My favorite game genre is Strategy
    9. I'm the best at said genre, usually winning any game I play against others on
    10. I have the worst time trying to make a choice.

I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed this little exercise

In 10 years you are really happy, with a great life. Describe it.
I'm a few years out of grad school for clinical psychology and a licensed psychologist. My girlfriend and I are still together and she's my wife. We live on a few acres with numerous cats and three horses. I'm completely out to everyone and my family has gotten used to the idea enough to at least put on a good face that they accept the two of us together.

Your future self (say, 10-15 years forward) travels back in time to visit you. You have a chance to ask them 3 questions. What three?
Was grad school worth it? Does Mom ever accept me? Where do I live?

If you found out your life (your own unique one, not life in general) was a novel and you met the author of it, what would you say to them?
These are the most boring chapters ever. When are things going to pick up again? Why don't I ever catch a break?
