I might be a little late into the hype but anyone know what they taste like??? I've seen them everywhere on the web. It's a "basic chick" thing apparently? There's no p.s.latte in the country I'm in.
They're actually pretty nice, they honestly taste like a normal latte but they have a little bit of spice to it. (Not like chilli spice but the spice you get with spiced apples.)
Tried a Starbucks pumpkin spice latte two years ago (took some sips from my sister). It tasted good, but not something I'd order. However, I forgot the "latte" part means "milk" and had a bit of a skin reaction. Oh well. I'm more careful now.
It 's nothing out of this world but it tastes really good. You could check some recipes online. Where I live we only have pumpkin latte (without spice)
I had my first pumpkin spice latte at Krispy Kreme the other week, and I have to say they're pretty nice! As everyone says, they're vaguely spiced, sweet (mine had whipped cream on as well) and...they taste pretty good, in my opinion! If you like things like chai lattes, you'd probably like pumpkin spice.
They are very sweet and have a particular taste. Some cinnamon, maybe nutmeg, and coffee of course. The "pumpkin spice" flavor in a lot of pumpkin spice stuff is actually more of the spices you'd find in a pumpkin pie than the pumpkin flavor itself. I like to get them occasionally during the fall, but they're a bit too sweet to be a "regular" drink for me.
i'd try a bite af pumpkin pie & a sip of unsweetened coffee with cream. it tastes the same ( to me ) & is alot cheaper anyway.
