Hello, lovelies! I'm sitting in my room listening to my mom and my brother watch a football game. And I don't get it. I don't really like watching sports, and God knows PE class was the worst experience of my life to date, so I was just wondering what you guys think of sports. Do you like, or hate them, or just not care? If so, why? I'm very curious to see your responses!

I know it's perhaps less common among gay guys than it is for straight guys, but I love sports and they have always been a big part of my life. Hockey is my favorite sport, but I have football on TV right now and I used to be a huge baseball fan as well. And I absolutely love watching the Olympics.

Back in the wee old days of JR high, I ran for my school's track team and played on their soccer team. I lost the interest in 8th grade regained it. I could care less about watching sports

Hated it, but I don't hate the people that love it.

PE class was also horrible for me. There's nothing like being last place for everything, especially when 95% of your PE class had people who played sports.

I don't care much for sports.
Like you said, PE classes were the worst.

I never understood football/soccer, baseball or handball.
I also never understood why people get so incredibly passionate about it. Especially with soccer, people become annoyingly passionate and talk about this and that team having this and that technique. All I see is grown men fighting over a ball and falling to the ground crying if someone (barely) touches them.

It could also have something to do with the fact that I am extremely bad at every sport there is, exept for hockey.

I like watching some of the less popular sports (cross country, track, golf, bowling, etc.) but I don't go out of my way to do so

I like sports as long as I'm playing them, watching them on TV is an absolute bore though.

Only liked watching football for a few years in my teens. That's about it, haven't watched or played anything since.

I like watching sports, in particular tennis. Playing sports myself: not so much, with the exception of table tennis. I could play table tennis non-stop.

I love eyecandy, and sports give me plenty of that. Sweet man ass everywhere, except for hockey, but hockey is just the best sport to watch [as a sport] so no biggie.

I don't care for sports at all personally, especially American football. It's so dull to me, I could see the appeal if I were straight, but honestly wonder what straight guys see in it so much. I think they're trying to tell us something.

But seriously, PE was the worst thing ever for me growing up. Heck, I even pretended to play an instrument for two years so I could be exempted!

I'm an absolute football(soccer) nut; a diehard Borussia Dortmund fan who will drag his ass out of bed at 5 am to watch BVB play. I also love boxing; it's my second-favorite sport, and a good fight always gets me fired up.

Playing sports, however... although I am a lot better at football now, let's just say there was a perfectly legitimate reason I played goalkeeper in P.E class. [IMG]

I actually play sports myself and I don't have any interest in pro sports. I figure, I don't know them, it's more of a big business, and does it really effect me? I mean I don't care if others are into sports, I just never understood it myself. I guess it's because I'm just not that competitive so it's hard for me to really care who wins.

Most sports I just can't be bothered with, especially things like football which I fail to see the fun in. This made PE lessons kinda lame as every other time I had a PE lesson we were playing football.

I wasn't alone either, I was in the bottom set PE group and everyone pretty much hated the idea of sports. In particular football, when the teacher said that we were going to play football we would all groan. In the end we played dodge-ball against the girls, then we lost 3 games to them, after which point we pretty much just sat around talking throughout all of our PE lessons.

Although that being said I quite enjoy swimming, I got into swimming towards the end of primary school when the school was evaluating who could swim and who couldn't. It turned out I was pretty much the only kid that couldn't swim, so my parents got me swimming lessons and I have really enjoyed swimming ever since.

I don't like watching sports but do like playing them. I play football and basketball.

I really enjoyed PE too. I always did well at cross country.

    I like less 'conventional' sports.

I.e. Wrestling is cool and the Olympics is awesome.
Otherwise I get bored watching things like football.
