There are so many threads on EC about anxiety and struggles. I fear that it makes it easy to forget about the positive things in our lives. What good news have you had lately? What are you excited about? It can be as significant or insignificant as you wish. What are you looking forward to? There is always something to be happy about if you keep a positive outlook on life. Lets hear about it!
Lots of things! I got to see my friends yesterday, I've lost about 5 pounds in the last few months and look great, I have an appointment with an endocrinologist soon so I can go on testosterone.
A more generalized version of my thread in gender identity forum. Nice. Well I'm going to a Halloween party on Saturday and get to show off my costume you see me in to my friends. Excited for ... new years in NYC and seeing ny trans friends.
1. I've had an awesome week, where I've met with good friends, had great conversations, and generally been in a happy mood! :icon_bigg 2. I've been sober (as in: drug free) for almost 6 months! 3. I came out to a friend who just responded with a "No worries, I guessed it long ago lol" x3 4. My three siblings and I are all celebrating xmas together, for once! I can't wait for december! :icon_bigg 5. My friends have received the plushies I've sown for them, and it made them so happy! One of them was literally jumping and dancing with glee!
1) Finished my national end year exams-both of them. Finally, freedom till Dec when results come out! 2) FINALLY completed my sims house-6 sims, 4 levels, 3 bathrooms, 6 rooms and a HUGE outdoor garden/balcony and an indoor garden right next to it! Took so many cheats (mods) and months to settle down on a lot and a design. I feel so proud of myself XD 3) I'm gonna highlight my hair next week. Been looking forward to highlighting my hair for months, now. Then it's prom~
After a year and a half, I'm going to come out to my family in a few weeks. I finished my coming out letter too.
I get to see my best friend every day; he's so much fun to be around and is like the extra boost of cheerfulness I never knew I needed. ^^
I've been more peaceful and at peace in the past few months, I'm rarely angry about anything anymore, and overall I'm a much more forgiving person than in the past. Also, I may or may not be in a relationship (it's not official yet, idfk rn), but he's super funny and adorable.
I decided that I'll come out - so excited in 2 weeks I am going to my favorite bands concert- my first concert ever! And good news? I found EC, finally a place where people understand my problems and accept me the way I am. It's hard being the first LGBT friend in your group
I have a date for my appointment with the endocrinologist, only a month and a half to wait until my life changes forever! So excited and happy! :icon_bigg
Started a job last week after being unemployed since June following my escape from grad school! Bought a new couch that's going to be delivered Saturday! Down 17 lbs since August!
This Saturday is XC districts, and my team is in a better spot than ever before. We'll definitely advance to state championships (we're aiming to take 1st this year after getting 4th, 5th, and 2nd in the past). And it's my senior year, so I'm hoping this XC state will be the best yet. Best for last. Also, I was really anxious about Homecoming (I went with my boyfriend and we were wearing matching outfits), being dressed formally as a guy and mostly, I can't dance. But it turned out well and I had fun.
